If anyone suggested eating Piglet, many more people would be offended! (i.e., children and Winnie the Pooh fans, not Muslims)

These employees probably are not eating their beloved polyester stuffed toys or porcelain figurines, and in fact those toys probably never touched a real hog, so why is there any offense?

When my son was born, a few months ago, my Mom sent us my copy of "Now we are Six", which I got for Christmas when I was two years old.

A thought occurred to me this morning as I watched the business news. A few of the stories talked about 'cutting the pork' and 'pork bellies' futures. The next channel moved on to the 'pork' attached to certain bills recently put through Congress and the Senate, in terms of spending issues. Will we be forced to change the language we use when talking about the stock market or laws and bills passed in our own government? Will people then notice and put a stop to the ridiculous claims?
