If someone in the 50's still thinks like a Democrat like her, then I have no words for it...

From 1995 until 2000, she was chair of the Texas Lottery Commission.

5 years on the Texas Lottery Commission? This is just too funny.

I just heard a clip of Schumer talking about Harriet Miers. He (paraphrasing) said Miers seems to be a step in the right direction to replace O'Conner...

I hope things get better, but right now things don't sound so good to me.

I'd say Rove isn't exactly beating the a$$ of his stated goal-- it's kinda kicking his A$$ at the moment.

Sadly and regrettably, Bush and Rove have permanently taken themselves out of the hall of conservative heroes. He is gonna be another President, like his Dad, that future republicans will win their seats in spite of.

Sadly, this pick makes impossible Bush and Rove's goal of building and leaving a movement-building legacy.

The GOP will have to pick up the pieces after this Presidency. Hopefully, President Hillary Clinton won't be his legacy.

Tammy Bruce used to be a member of NOW, but became a conservative. Ironic that she is worried isn't it?

He better be. News today is that Taft has a 15% approval rating, and a 25% rating from the GOP. We need some good news here.

Same here I'm fed up!
I lost all faith in Bush when he rehabilitated Bill Clinton
I can honestly say I don't care anymore
years of hard work & elections shot to hell by a pansy
YES PANSY named Bush!
I called the RNC & told them how I felt!

"Stop being reactionary. Study Gore's record to that point. Are you a conservative by ideology or just a blind Republican? If I had the choice between a RINO and Al Gore in 88, I would have gone for Gore too considering his VOTEs to that point were pro-life. He was only beginning his waffle on Abortion. Was considered a conservative Dem."

what a bunch of hogwash!

Gore is and was a liberal 'Rat. PERIOD!
