The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.
Please, pass it on over. :-)
The source might have it listed as a FBI mugshot, but it doesn't look like any mugshot I've ever seen. Nothing to identify the individual picture(numbers/name). It still looks like a DL or student ID.
Hi Gumby, I am ARealMothersSon
That's exactly what I was thinking. My question was intentionally facietious. There has to be a darn good reason why these students are still locked out, and that reason is unlikely to be "investigative procedure 101".
This smells like a Colombine or terrorist incident at this point.
The Ashley Apartments which were evacuated today are located at 1415 George Avenue - one block from 1304 George Avenue.
Let me double-check if there are "W" or "E" or "N" or "S" on those.
Oh, this thread is weird alright, but the FReepers aren't. ;) LOL
You probably are right. I agree it doesn't look like an FBI mug shot. Maybe someone screwed up.
OK, this explains the impounding of the buses. The buses don't have their windows broken, so the explosion couldn't have been THAT big.
I've been watching my cursor blink trying to decide what to type. It takes a while to wrap your mind around what could be a terrorist attack and we are being kept in the dark so as not to spook us. I say, spook us, we need to know what they know, good or bad.
I have stated over and over again that my family did not see this -- we heard it from a FRATERNITY brother that witnessed it and from another FRATERNITY brother and his girlfriend. I NEVER said I witnessed what happened but reported what people were saying. Big difference.
I did hear the explosion and have reported news accounts. At NO point did I ever say we witnessed what happened up close and personal.
What's your problem?
LOL....gotta agree with that statement (about FReepers that is).
Same apartments as the "bomber" - March 2005
DAILY STAFF WRITERS

The OU Department of Public Safety is investigating the death of an OU student who was found dead Monday at her apartment. Sarah Dawn Tolin, arts and sciences senior, lived in Apartment C at 606 Stinson Drive in the Parkview Apartments, OUDPS Sgt. Gary Robinson said.
Although the police had not determined the cause of death as of 5 p.m. Monday, they are investigating it as a potential homicide or suicide, Cleveland County District Attorney Tim Kuykendall said.

I use waxpaper strictly by de-fault of the MSM. Good answer, twntaipan. :)
Why weren't the bus windows broken if the AP says that the windows in the nearby building were?
Well, it's a gruesome thought, but perhaps part of the device (e.g., a belt) was still attached to part of the body.
I would think the FBI has seen enough suicide bomber remains, in Iraq, Israel and elsewhere, to know what to look for.
If that's the case, and they're working with the knowledge that he did use the typical suicide bomber MO, the lack of information may be the result of the FBI not being able to make sense of this thing either.
The suicidal person is making a statement -- be it fear, anger, despair, vengeance or the 72-virgin delusion. So what was this kid trying to say by choosing this way to die, at this particular place and time -- if the choice truly was his to make?
How do we know the boat accident wasn't a terror attack? Don't we have any reports of men of middle-eastern descent running away from the scene?
Other side of the building.
a wannabee?
