Democrats 52 GOP 40

Fox News:

Democrats 38 GOP 35

Not even Fox News could manufactire a GOP lead. Is there any way the Democrats won't take back Congress? I don't see how.

Congressional Republicans have demonstrated that they do not have the cojones required to be the governing party. It's time to vote against Republicans to teach them a lesson.

Now all the "OH THIRD PARTY VOTE WASTED" whiners will show up.

The point of not voting Republican rather voting Libertarian or Constitution Party is to show the Republicans that conservatives don't embrace socialism (from them or the Democrats) or the huge growth in government we've experienced in the last 5 years.

2006 is the year to vote 3rd party to send the Republicans a lesson, otherwise they won't get their butts in gear for 2008.

FAKE POLLS DO NOT TRANSLATE INTO REAL VOTERS!

Anyone who believes polls that show Democrats taking back Congress are morons.

The last two midterm elections, 1998 and 2002, show that 65% of the Voting Age Population did not vote in either election.

This means that only 35% of the people polled in these 'national adult' polls will vote in 2006.

This means that Republicans need approval from only 18% of the people in these polls to make gains in both houses of Congress.

The opinion of the non-voter is irrelevant.

This analysis comes from doing polls on the cheap. in off-years.

Give me a 'likely voter' survey with 37%-Democrat, 37% Republican and 26% Independent and you will find that Republicans are pretty close to the 51% that they had nationwide in 2002 and 2004.

Public opinion has not changed. Polling samples have.

The foolish try to cash in on the fool's gold of Fake Polls.

I prefer to win despite them.

Last year at this time the leftist RATS and their paid media were pronouncing George Bush dead and all but buried. Then along came the November elections and the rest, as they say, is history. The media have made themselves the news and one has to sift everything they say or do to get any semblance of real reporting. The polls are part of their game plan. Sometimes they reflect the truth, but who knows which poll to believe? Me, I take them all with a huge grain of salt and just keep on working away to help the President and this country any way I can.
