The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Threat Matrix - Daily Terrorism Threat
Threat Matrix: U.S. Terrorism
Home grown Islamists may hit US: FBI chief
Full Story

WASHINGTON -- The United States could be attacked by "home grown" Islamist terror groups, the FBI's chief has warned.

FBI Director Robert Mueller told the London Financial Times newspaper in an interview published Thursday that the United States could face attacks from "home-grown terrorism" very similar to the July 7 bombings in London that killed 52 people and wounded another 700, Mueller said.

When asked if the United States could face such attacks from "home-grown groups", Mueller answered emphatically: "Absolutely, it could," the Financial Times said.

Dots?

This from another FR thread:

[snip] "... Our bus was one of three impounded by the FBI, so we hitched a ride home on another bus, just got home. The driver of the bus parked just behind us (another of the three buses impounded) happened to be looking at the guy who was sitting on a bench outside the George Lynn Cross Botany building, which is RIGHT AT where our bus was. This other driver was knocked off his feet by the concussion and otherwise unhurt but spending the night with the FBI and local constabulary. ...." [snip]
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1495058/posts?q=1&&page=1204

Vel's thoughts:

London bombings = "King's Cross" = named for King George

OK bomber = George Cross Botany building

= Too much of a coincidence for me to swallow.

BOLO any other locations which reference George/Cross (just my opinion, of course)

January 15, 2004 -- STEVEN Brill had a summit meeting of TV anchormen and their bosses over dinner at his Fifth Avenue apartment on Tuesday night with Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge to discuss how they'll cover the next terrorist attack. Brill, whose book "After" detailed the response to 9/11, spearheads the America Prepared Campaign to educate the public. Joining Brill, his wife Cynthia and two of their three kids for dinner were Fox News Channel boss Roger Ailes, ABC News prexie David Westin, CBS News chief Andrew Heyward, CNN anchor Aaron Brown, plus Peter Jennings and Tom Brokaw.

LOL..........I can't help but wonder how they obtained the tiger urine. All sorts of scenarios are running through my mind.

Reminds me of the time I had to take a urine speciman from my dog to the vet. We followed him around with a Dixie Cup attached to the end of a yardstick. My neighbors thought I had truly gone off the deep end.

The infighting over on the other thread is getting comical.

It was a terrorist attack.
No it wasn't.
Yes is was.
No it wasn't.
Yes it was.
etc, etc, etc.....

The only inconsistency I can detect are the reports of a huge blast but very little damage.

But....

When's the last time ANYONE tried to commit suicide by bomb? Then there's the reports of multiple devices. Why such little coverage by the MSM?

Too many unanswered questions.

Many folks on the other thread are very skeptical and that's a good thing. It adds balance.

Me, I'm staying at RED ALERT until after rama-dama-ding-dong is over. Possibly a few weeks beyond.

Remember - you're paranoid until something happens, then all the sudden you're prepared.

I haven't had as much time as I used to to peruse the TM thread (esp since I now run 2 pinglists) but I do check in here and there. Will be here often since the OK bombing last night.

Regarding you post about persucution and horror in Africa. I can hardly see my screen after reading that. Those vicious @(*&@*(& animals. I am so sorry for those poor women and men who are treated with such unimaginable inhuman cruelty. I thank God for those who are helping them.

More evidence that Evil with a capital E exists, and needs to fought with vigor and courage, and mercy shown to the innocent.

Breaks my heart.

"dog disease"

That is what I thought of.

I also remember an article about the bird flu jumping to dogs in Guangdong Province.

Just too many things don't add up in the way this thing is being covered. Most people probably have no idea it even happened. This is regardless of what anyone believes happened. The other thing on the BB thread that is supicious is that the Skeptics and the "PUT downers" seemed to suddenly explode on the thread like the flip of a switch. Suddenly people on the thread were kooks. The thread was stupid. The forum reputation was in tatters. And on and on.

That was a very informative blog!

It will take that blogger and other people who were there when the bomb exploded to bring out the truth. MSM is certainly attempting to whitewash this.

imo

There are still way way too many people in denial about the threat of terrorism, here on our soil.

How many more times do they have to be slapped upside their heads to "WAKE THE HECK UP"?

Sheeple. sickening

Praying for more eyes to be opened.
