Gael Murphy's (Code Pink) Blood Pressure Hits a New High
Me as eye witness ^ | 9/30/05 | bmwcyle

Posted on 09/30/2005 9:13:57 PM PDT by bmwcyle

This is a quick post to provide an after action report for the DC Chapter Freep of Code Pink at Walter Reed. It was a night to remember and I did not want to keep everyone waiting. There will be a full report with all pictures later on in the week.

It was a normal but cooler night as everyone arrived for another evening of countering Code Pink. Down the street came the sound of a single motorcycle. The Rolling Thunder scout arrived to announce the news of more bikes to follow. The first scout went accross the street to talk with the Code Pinkos. The police came rolling down the street. We are not sure the exact details of what went on over there but it was not pretty in pink (land). The scout was asked by the police to come back over to our side.

The rest of the Rolling Thunder group arrived and they parked right in front of Code Pink. Gael Murphy had a fit and the police were very nice. They ask the guys from Rolling Thunder to move to our side. The bikers walked back over to their side a few times just to taunt them. When they went over to the otherside we would chant, "Hug A Vet".

Gael had a group meeting at the end and she was mad as a wet hen.

It is likewise a plea to those who protest the war to do so responsibly,in ways that won’t imperil the lives or shake the morale of American men and women now stationed in harm’s way.

Guess CODE PINK didn't get this memo.
I think it's time they read it.
or maybe just an explanation of it's meaning would suffice.
RT certainly gave CODE PINKO a demonstration of free speech and troop morale they'll not soon forget.
Now WE got some splaining to do.
Somtimes ya jest gotta splain things so's folks kin understand..

but the more I think about it, the wording in that statement is wrong...
"A Plea.."???

you don't plead with idiots, it's makes them wary;
you don't plead with Marxists, it makes them meaner;
you can't plead with terorists, they'll just kill you.
Although a direct statement, like "we expect everyone to be responsible in their protests, otherwise, we'll hunt you down and hang you." would probably be a little over the top.

I just looked at the pics linked to in post #309. Great pics. They're by El Marco. They capture the spirit of the day and the ugliness (in terms of message and tone!) of the protesting loonies.

Masks. They're wearing masks. Well, now we know they're not willing to suffer for their beliefs. Fight and die for a cause? Not if the neighbors have to know.

This woman loves her son.

This woman loves herself. "I, I, I . . ."

Hi Laurita!! How's it going?

Do you think those sorts of "people" actually vote? Or do you think they just like making spectacles of themselves?

things are good. I'm sleepy, though. Frankly I don't think people like that do anything at all if it might take the slightest bit of effort or cause them the tiniest bit of discomfort. Their hobby has always been complaining, not doing.
