ANTI-MILITARY WHACKOS COMING TO SAN DIEGO MILITARY HOSPITALS!
CODE PINKOS YELL AT INJURED MILITARY AND GRIEVING FAMILIES AT WALTER REED AND BALBOA NAVAL HOSPITAL
DON'T LET THIS STAND!
CodePink is at it again.
For the past several months, this radical anti-everything group has been disgracing itself by holding weekly demonstrations outside Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in full view of wounded soldiers going out to dinner with their families on Friday evenings.
They've been effectively countered by the diligent efforts of groups like Free Republic and Protest Warrior, who have set up their own demonstration of support for the troops on the opposite corner.
And now, my fellow San Diegans, it's our turn.
It has come to our attention that the local chapter of CodePink will be holding demonstrations across from the Balboa Naval Hospital.
These protests are clearly designed to demoralize our military, and make them doubt the resolve of the American public.
I'm not going to let that happen without a fight -- I know that you won't, either.
This Sunday, set your TiVo to record the football game, grab an American flag, pack your family and friends into your gas-guzzling SUV, and join San Diego Protest Warrior for Operation Thank You in Balboa Park.
Who: Anyone who supports our troops and their mission.
What: A demonstration of support for our military.
When: Sunday, Oct. 2 11:30 - 2pm
Where: Corner of Park Blvd. & Presidents Way, across from the Naval Hospital Parking Lot.
Why: To counter the presence of CodePink protesters.
How: With American flags, signs, and banners that say "Thank You" to our Armed Forces.
Counter Codepinko PING!
We need a lot of people to come out and show these nut cases that this military town supports the troops!
SoCal, looky here!
Did the Pinkos do this already out there? Were you able to FReep them?
Code Pink supports Al Qaeda in Iraq. They are much more dangerous than the bunch of clowns they try to appear to be.
Thanks, I posted this also on the CA board on FR
CAluvdubya and I have been the only freepers at these
past rallies except one other one day, though there are a large number of freepers here.
My reason for posting on CA bd.
There were around 2,ooo Code Pinkos out the other week
and around 15 PWs and us 2 freepers countering them.
So thought I would get the word out and thank you also.
Wish I lived in the USA, I would dig shoving it to Code Pink'ers. A more morally bankrupt group you would be hard pressed to find.
Good luck SoCalPol, wiush I could help.
Thanks NZ. The code pinkos are scum.
Appreciate your good words.
Maybe I should bring some cookies! What do you think? A little counter protest, a little food. All in all, quite a productive afternoon. This time I'm bringing hubby's camera. I'm taking a crash course in operating it! If I don't mess it up, we'll have some purty pictures to post!
Good thinking!
Count me in.
Great! We'll show those pinkos!
Great, it wil be good to see you.
I believe the local Protest Warriors are handling them.
Thank you guys for doing that.
Thought I'd pop in and answer your question. SoCalPol and I have been to two FReeps. The first one, twobits joined us and the Protest Warriors brought great signs and large flags. The second counter was the big one. As SoCal stated, code pink had 2,000 and a large area. We had the PWs and some from Move America Forward and only Socal and I from FR. We also had LEO's on foot and mounted.
Code Pink plans on doing this every other weekend (last I heard) and as long as they are there, we're there too!
As I said in Freepmail I cant make it this Sunday. Please ping me about next week if this will continue.
For anyone that is interested;
I will have room for three, next week from Costa Mesa.
Maybe if others are interested we can caravan to SD. You LA and Ventura people might also consider a caravan. Can you do it this Sunday??
Please contact me about next week . I will be leaving on Sun for a trip up north and will be back Thursday and will answer any responses then.
I am so disappointed that I cant make it this Sunday. Only thing I can do is Bump.
Thank you for being there.
Thanks so much. We will post when further rallies occure.
