Your post wasn't aimed at me...but find a doctor who will listen to you. My symptoms of Lupus for 15 years before they put 2+2 together. It's not common in men.
But, we have a fantastic Doctor that really listens and doesn't blow things off. She figured it out, and his quality of life is much, much better.
He looked great that was why I was a bit sorry I could not find any photos of him when I looked earlier.
Osteomyelitis (infection in the bone) can cause pain and fevers and lethargy.
MRI's give more detail about soft tissue problems (as distinct from bone problems).
If you FReepmail me with more information about your injury and symptoms and what's been done, I could do a Medscape search for information on what might be going on, what might help...just to give you some ideas about what to ask your doctor about...
I always wanted one of those little handheld medscan diagnostic computers that Dr. McCoy had on StarTrek. "Weedle..weedle...weedle" and you have an answer....
I'm glad to hear it.
He really isn't comfortable in the spot light though. I think he prefers to get things done. So that is probably why he wasn't front and center more.
Will do
LOL. I could not be trusted with one of those. It would make me into an instant hypochondriac...and I would drive my children and husband nuts.
Not to mention the pets.
Got do you want me to post the photos you have sent?
Autumn is a relief here. Getting out of the 90's and 100's in temperatures and having lower watering and electric air conditioning bills coming in the mail.
Then the trees in my yard and around town turn pretty colors..and it occasionally rains once more after 4 or so months of none.
I don't think they transmit so well going transatlantic.
They were just for you, in case you didn't have them in your collection.
If you want to post them some time in a retrospective that would be fine.
The nearby town where I work, has an all volunteer fireforce. You know, everybody's a fireman! Kind of takes all the mystery out of it.
It is hard for me to imagine weather like that even in summer is rarely goes much longer than a week without rain even so the local water companies issue hose pipe and sprinkler bans LOL
Believe me, I have been doing my exercises for the time they said to. I even showed my family doctor today raising my arm above my head. I keep it moving when I am doing something that requires it. I learned to do what this doctor said to do when hubby had TKR surgery the day after the election last year. My mil has a friend who had the same kind of surgery but she did not do any exercises and now she can not lift her arm. What a shame that the doctor did not tell her to do these exercises. I am still a little sore but it is nothing compared to what it was weeks ago. Mopping the floor really hurt the first time I did that! Chores have to be done, though. It even hurt to do my counted cross stitch the first few times I tried it.
Cudos to you!
Now, you can encourage me to get up and about more...
You've got mail.
Mary Jo Myers, wife of retiring Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Richard B. Myers, and Mrs. Joyce Rumsfeld, wife of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, talk with Vice President Dick Cheney during the Armed Forces Farewell Tribute and Armed Force Hail Ceremony at Fort Myer, Va. on Sept 30, 2005.
I did not mean to be critical of my doctor. He was teasing me. We have been going to him since 1971. He is one of the few doctors I know who admits that he does not know the answer to a problem. Or, if it is about something else, he will say that is out of my expertise. I do not know what we will do when he decides to retire.
What do you want on the toaster?
Good Evening snugs, sorry about bailing out earlier, I just got feeling better mid week and WHAM, yesterday I got sick as a dog again and I'm not over it yet
