Just shown on Fox News --
Ben and Jerry's co-founder Ben Cohen is co-sponsoring a full page ad in towmorrow's NY Times allegedly showing dead people floating in water in New Orleans over the declaration that 'If Bush hadn't sent the Army to an illegal war in Iraq there would have been enough troops in the US to avoid the death toll from Hurricane Katrina.'
Does it get any more loathsome than this?
I agree.
I like Evian. But after the conduct of the French prior to, during after after the liberation of Iraq, I've never bought it again.
The same goes with Ben & Jerry's. There are lots of good ice cream alternatives out there, regionally and nationally.
I am proud to say that I have never even tasted their icecream. It looked too hippy-ish to me. And now I am really glad that I never got curious enough to eat any of their garbage.
LOL. In Vermont, you can't rule out anything.
How that state has slid downhill. 20, 25 years ago, Vermont was nothing like it is now.
It has to be the influx of Massachusetts and New York residents that are turning Vermont into a socialist bastion.
When UniLever bought them, they remained on to promote the company, I think that a letter concerning their actions, which might be detrimental to the company is in order, being a stock holder would be an advantage, I am.
Yep! Totally understand that one!
Unfortunately, I believe these so-called "progressives" sold their company, lock, stock and Chunky Monkey to "the man" (aka some big conglomerate) a while ago. Their web site may say otherwise, but it ain't two old hippies running the joint anymore.
Now, they're like Rob "Meathead" Reiner. They got lots of time on their hands, and WAAAAAAY more money than brains.
My God! Are you running dog capitalist a$$holes still selling that poison-laced $hit you call ice cream. THINK OF THE CHILDREN. Selfish people like you will be the ruination of our grand collectivist plans. You should be kicked out of the movement!
Last year after one of their anti-war tours or something I wrote the commissary (DECA, military grocery), about stocking B&J ice cream and they wrote back and told me too bad; they supply according to demand and nobody else has complained. Anyone out there who uses the commissary want to help me out? www.commissaries.com

For all you Texas FReepers, a message to HEB's corporate offices will be a much more effective means of voicing your displeasure at BenLaden&Jerry's products and anti-American/Pro-terrorist stance. Be nice but firm.
die hard demorats-i shudder about the ingredients
LOL!
I never buy Ben and Jerry's and their icecream is great, but I refuse to put money in the pockets of those people.
An alternative:

That makes sense...the troops could have all banded together and with their collective breaths blown the hurricane the other way. Makes perfect sense. IDIOTS, IDIOTS, IDIOTS.
Funny how every moonbat is an expert on the Law of War.
As an aside, Ben's ice cream is so unhealthy that the dude has had triple bypass surgery. Now you have TWO reasons to give it up!
Nope.. lots brands make Cherry Garcia by another name.. as with most Ben and Jerry flavors..
Who cares what these purveyors of artery-clogging junk food think?
