what does priests being allowed to marry, have to do with the problem of gay priests being unfaithful to their vows?

NormB,

he hated esau...

As Thomas points out: "Nothing prevents one and the same thing being loved under one aspect, while it is hated under another. God loves sinners in so far as they are existing natures; for they have existence and have it from Him. In so far as they are sinners, they have not existence at all, but fall short of it; and this in them is not from God. Hence under this aspect, they are hated by Him."

Yes, some people have stronger tendencies toward some sins than others

The ones who have strong tendencies toward gay sex are gay or bisexual, whether they have acted on these tendencies or not. A totally heterosexual person is not sexually aroused by members of his or her own sex.

Most FR people reported their churches are full -- the articles were concerning churches in the north east and particularly in canada and europe which are a lot of churches. other articles for about a decade have cited Catholic and mainline denominational churches as having a clergy crisis hensce these moves to accept lower and lower cuts of priests to fill vacant posts.

If a man is a celibate, then he is not homosexual. Homosexuality is an action. Yes, some people have stronger tendencies toward some sins than others, but it's the acting out that makes it a sin.

Thank you for saying that. In truth there is no such thing as a 'homosexual' there are only mentally ill/damaged heterosexuals who are acting against their own nature

No. Otherwise hetero sexuality is an action, a verb. They are nouns.

Heterosexuality is the default or normal state of human sexual nature. "Homosexuality" is a mental disease evidenced only by the act of practicing same sex behavior. If someone never commits the act of homosexual behavior then they are not a 'homosexual'. Only the act gives definition to the disease

I am just wondering, is it just me, or does this guy look like a child molester also?
Don't believe for a minute that these fags are not also after kids.

If he's a 'homosexual' or 'homosexual' enabler then for the sake of our children he must be considered a child molestor also. The statistics are such that the two are inseparable

The Pope is looking from the viewpoint of 2,000 years of history, a box much bigger than ours that is confined to the present.

Within the above context, this problem and solution may be quite a bit smaller than we can see, a blip in the history of the Church.

This Pope will do what is best for Jesus, His Father and His Church.

If a person describes himself as 'gay' and Christian then we know he is not Christian because being 'gay' is incompatible with being Christian.

Why would you align yourself with sin instead of with Christ. That's like saying I'm a atheist Christian.

I deplore Homosexuality in the Church, but I take issue with your implication that Luther is the Devil!

Question: If Luther is the Devil for breaking away, (which he never advocated by the way) then what does that make the Roman Church for causing a schism and breaking away from Holy Orthodoxy in 1054?

I can't dispute numbers... but I think is high. But of course for me 10% is HIGH!

the QUESTION IS WHY.........?

(a)Good access to children and boys? (b)Agenda?

Probably both!

[ The very way those "surveys" are mentioned, in the sources you cite, shows that they are utterly unreliable, therefore worthless. No controls. The guy who sends out the questionnaires...processes them, and then announces the results. Hmmm? Agenda, anyone? ]

If you're right then it very well could be MORE than 50%.. not less.. If the sampling is wrong..

Markedman: Your crack probably suggests that you are not Catholic in which case whether the Roman Catholic Church tolerates faggots in OUR priesthood is simply NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

Sincerely,

Black Elk

Wahabbi Catholic and proud of it.
