He sure is smiling. He shouldn't be doing that. Why not? The worse thing that could happen to the Democrats is that the focus shifted on them. I've heard there are plenty of holes in this indictment that has been in the queue for 2 years.

He was at the fundraisers and they used his name and he was on an advisory committee - - - but he didn't know what they were doing. Tom, you better get a better story and quick!

There really seems to be something wrong with him the last month or so doesn't there? We better run a DNA check and make sure this really is "the Hammer".

This is serious. No matter if he thinks it's frivolous, it's still accusations against him and he's been replaced already as majority leader. No matter what he thinks personally, it's bad face to be laughing about it on tv.

He said under Texas law you could raise corporate funds for services....excess monies sent by the PAC to Republican State Committee...says that's the way it works...."corporate money cannot come back to Texas."
To: mtbopfuyn
DeLay pointed out that Earle and the Democrats have been trying to do this for ten years. Said what he did at the time was legal and that's what the indictment is based on.

Now that DeLay will have some spare time, perhaps he will find some federal project that's overfunded.

Oh, please. These are frivolous charges and DeLay will wipe the floor with little Ronnie.

He was at the fundraisers and they used his name and he was on an advisory committee - - - but he didn't know what they were doing. Tom, you better get a better story and quick! DeLay has a good explanation for every objection Britt is raising.
DeLay is going on the offensive, and that's good. Perhaps Dick DeGuerin, DeLay's lawyer, will push Earle into dropping the case. Earle cannot go back to the grand jury, as they are dismissed.

Yeah right. As Rush says "It's the seriousness of the charge". It's a trumped up political hit piece by democrats is what it is. Giving the charges any serious consideration is wasting time.
