Hours before New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass announced his resignation, Tony relayed some hot information he had heard from his Capitol Hill sources. It regarded an FBI investigation currently under way.
You can go to the source above and listen to that segment of his radio show.
As pointed out in private reply, I typo'd:
Marshall Law is a typo; I understand what Martial Law is and how it's spelled, just typo'd the noun earlier. All the word police can now relax. Please.
I think a lot of records were also destroyed by Nagin and Blanco as they prevented the Feds from entering their turf.
Interesting...when Brown was asked about any emergency official contact for/within the State of Louisiana, he said there wasn't anyone available. When asked why, Brown explained that the guy was "under indictment."
Blaming Brown for this preexisting fiasco that is Louisiana's corruption and failure to prepare is a waste of time and resources.
EXCELLENT point...
Not Everyone Can Wear the Badge, Can YOU?
Salary and Benefits
The New Orleans Police Department is now accepting applications for employment!
Rep. Jefferson recently made headlines when National Guard troops escorted him to his flooded home in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, then waited around for him to remove his personal belongings -- even as life-and-death rescue efforts were going on all around him. ...***
Someone better grab Eddie Compass' passport for safekeeping.
Hmmmm, perhaps those "cops" sent out of the state took with them a tad more than Nagin was letting on was being carried elsewhere. R&R might just mean "Recuse Reimbursements."
To be clear: RECUSE Reimbursements, not "rescue..."
who was that congressman who had the NG boat him to 'his' house and he went in to get/remove something?
Ha, that, too!
So Clintoon's 100,000 cops program was really about 20,000 cops and 1,000 crooks who pocketed the payroll cash so generously provided by the enslaved taxpayers of the US. And these are the thieves Mary Landreau wants us to give $250 BILLION to! Any Republican who votes for more aid to LA than the $65 BILLION they've already passed needs to be voted out of office in '06.
I wonder how many of the ghost officers were included in Clinton's 100,000 federally funded police.
Bingo. My wife is a CPA, and deals with the IRS all the time. Upon hearing "your tax returns", in a list of what to grab when you're leaving your house to the elements, her comment was, "the IRS has copies of those".
I am now even more curious as to why that brick building adjacent the Superdome in N.O. that is the "firehouse" was being fired upon (from elsewhere) whenever anyone tried to get into it.
This might also better explain why rescue workers once arrived there were being fired upon, as to specific areas in the city of N.O.

I haven't scrolled through the thread yet to see if you have been pinged, but I didn't want you to miss it. The audio of the Snow Show segment is linked.
Interesting. I'm not at all surprised about Waters (CA); she has been running around for ages blaming "the CIA" for the economic woes (and drug abuses in) South Central Los Angeles, saying "the CIA sold cocaine" to the folks there, things like that. I can never understand how Waters and others like them ever get elected to public office (and I can inlude many here nationwide), when they hardly seem sane. In CA, unfortunately, sanity is not a consideration. In Louisiana (and a few other places), it seems being in with the crime IS a consideration.
Makes me think of Bubba's pledge to put how ever many more cops on the streets in the RAT towns. I bet Rush has some soundbites of Bubba saying what a great job the Clinton admin did putting more cops on the street. I wonder how many times he mentioned it when campaigning in Louisiana in 1996. Hmmmmm.
