Hours before New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass announced his resignation, Tony relayed some hot information he had heard from his Capitol Hill sources. It regarded an FBI investigation currently under way.

You can go to the source above and listen to that segment of his radio show.

"Instead of calling New Oleans the Big Easy they should call it the Big House."

This is not the first time someone has suggested that! Someone said "just build a wall around the city and throw away the key"! Remember the movie: "Escape From New York"? Perhaps we need to build that wall long enough to include Baton Rouge, as well.

The state should be taken into some sort of Marshall Law embrace,

A choke hold would be more appropriate.

I hope, come election time, that someone reminds the constituents of NO that those 700 phantom cops also represent 700 good-paying jobs that otherwise went unfilled. That was 700 potential families lifted out of poverty. Given the urban model, that meant 700 young men with a good mom making something of themselves and providing for their mother and siblings. Liberal politics condemned them into single-parent poverty and corruption condemned them to stay there. When will they ever learn?

Did she get a job in exchange for keeping her mouth shut and not suing over the house situation?
There's more garbage about that land-fill/development.
It was determined to be unsafe, funds were received, it was determined to be safe, homes were built.
The speculation on this alone would take days.....

The rapes and murders have become rumors at just the same time the phantom cops are being exposed.
The Left is trying desperately to cast this as "rumors" to prevent the reporting.
By the way, I posted a link a few weeks back where Aaron Neville's cousin was in the Dome and she said she was raped, and all the rape accusations were true.
It was even on her website.

"I'll be going on in another direction that God has for me."............***

I think we can readily guess which direction that is. Luckily, Officer Eddie is accustomed to a warm climate.

It happens at Ford and GM, too.
I'm just sayin'
Enron wasn't an isolated incident of graft and theft.
They were just the first ones caught.

Somebody check his suitcase when he leaves town!

And, to recall, the powers that be weren't all that "eager" to retrieve all those police cars that were "driven out of the city" by those "deserting cops"...

This is going to be juicy..

If the reports of murder and mayhem coming out of NOLA were as exaggerated as we're hearing now, the officer with the good family life and honorable service seems even less likely a suicide, since the whole jist of it was that he becamse utterably despondent over the hellhole the city had become...

Something's rotten in Denmark.

I suspect you are correct.

Don't forget Commissioner of Agriculture Bob Odom.

Do a google search and find out his daliances.

This link provides a small tip of the iceberg.

"Since when is it illegal for a white man named Blanco to marry a black woman?"

It's not illegal, but it could be that Governor Blanco is married to a black man, which isn't illegal either. Does anyone know?

Found the same stuff on a google search. All "blanco" is is a french version of "white", I.E. a very common name. so I rescind My "run with this" Request,

Just because they say they have 500 additional officers doesn't mean they get Federal funding.
They have to prove it.

"..given the racial aspect involved."

What do you mean? Those bogus cops were all white! The ones that chickened out and fled to Las Vegas were all white! Only the Black ones remained behind to help the poor people of NO!

It not the kind of thing a clerk would be told or could likely know. The only time someone doing payroll is contacted by someone they're cutting checks for, is when an error has been made & it's not in favor of the employee.

People doing the hiring might know. Someone had to generate training records for the ghosts, so someone in that department might know. People doing the firing would know. People doing performance reviews might know. Someone doing the scheduling would know. Union rep might know. Did the ghosts have health insurance?

I would doubt very much this type of government corruption is just limited to and only isolated in New Orleans.

I agree. New Orleans though, has a reputation of being blatantly corrupt at all levels of government. I also agree that municipal and local governments need to be more closely monitored. When New Orleans is finished, Chicago should be next on the list.
