Hours before New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass announced his resignation, Tony relayed some hot information he had heard from his Capitol Hill sources. It regarded an FBI investigation currently under way.
You can go to the source above and listen to that segment of his radio show.
It was on cable TV a month or so ago. Forget which channel. IMO, a movie that accurately captures the flavor of New Orleans...
The instant a local official accepted $1 for a phantom employee from the feds, he would be subject to indictment and trial in federal courts. That would put him at the mercy of any state official who knew where all the bodies were buried. Blanco knows this
And now, Maxine Waters is trying to override President Bush's suspension of the Davis Bacon act. Hmmm.
LOL. The entire city government ought to be gone over by the Feds and a team of forensic accountants. Until that city's cleaned up, the federal government will just be throwing more good money after bad. Then they can do the rest of the darn state.
..who can quote chapter and verse of the corruption....
...will come forward as boldly as this woman.
May it drip out....slowly but surely...without a doubt !!...
..so that we, the paying public, will be irate to send one red penney to NOLA unless there is complete & intense accountability!
It certainly is understandable to have those thoughts.
I'm wondering about the 2 cops who committed suicide. I wonder....
Bush's fault...(sarc/off)
They're gone nearly insane with their programs.
Blitzed and Cafferty are so biased, there is no pretense of objectivity.
I didn't think that at all....She is one very angry lady with an ax to grind.
By the looks of the photos we all have seen, there probably are a helluvalot of bus drivers that don't exist either.
Perhaps they should call in Maxine Waters, Jesse Jackass or some other "expert" in inner city workings to straighten this mess out.
This is YOUR TAX DOLLARS at work, folks.
And you thought just the UN had scandals and sent money to corrupt dictators? I bet the corruption in New Orleans pales in comparison to the money skimmed away in Philadelphia, Detroit, et al.
Taxpayers get screwed. Taxpayers ALWAYS get screwed. When will taxpayers stop allowing themselves to be treated like slaves to the wealth transfer masters?
Have you seen this?? (Note also posts 19 and 20)
Time for a tea party?
Part and parcel of why their ratings are in the dumper :)
I can't help but wonder if any non-exixtent police officers have RETIRED on the city's pension plan. Result, permanent monthly payments going out to some crook. I bet they worked lots of "overtime" too.
BTW, this is a GREAT POST!
Nagin has already shown he will play the Race card so fast it will make your head spin.
Take it as a general comment to the speculation that Gov. Blanco and Elodia Blanco were related.
Did the 200 police officers who Nagin claimed deserted exist, or were never there in the first place?
He may have been BEGINNING his coverup of the 700 fake NOLA police officers (on salary, but who didn't exist) with that announcement!
The FBI is going to busy for a long, long time there... One thing leads to another... This is going to lead all over...
We are watching the total deconstruction of a major Democrat operated criminal organization know as New Orleans. I'm surprised there weren't numerous structure fires where the city's records were kept... Of course that's probably optimistic... They probably don't keep records... I doubt the city will ever be the same again after its had some sun light shown in its dark places...
Hmm, like maybe a federal prison ??
(Is having fake cops on the payroll a federal crime?? I'm guessing it is 'cause the FBI is involved)
Make that Katrina's after math.
