Four Central Florida middle school students were arrested Monday for allegedly ripping off the clothes off classmates and then snapping photos with their cell phones, according to a Local 6 News report.
Investigators said the boys, ages 12, 13 and 14 years old, attacked the girls Friday at Tavares Middle School in Lake County, Fla., in the back of a school bus. The boys then allegedly groped the girls and took pictures of them.
Cell phone video allegedly showed one of the girls screaming for help while the boys touch her breasts, according to the report.
Police said the attack continued after the boys got off the bus when they pulled another girl by her hair. When she fell, detectives said they put their hands up her skirt.
Detectives said it is a crime that comes close to being rape, Local 6 reporter Jessica Sanchez reported.
"You forcibly hold someone down, you remove their clothing, you are fondling that person -- if these children had been adults, this is a crime, if convicted, they would be labeled sex offenders for the rest of their lives," Lake County sheriff's Sgt. Christie Mysinger said.
Police said two of the boys have confessed to taping the attacks with their cell phones, Local 6 News reported.
Also, police are looking at surveillance video from the school bus.
All of the boys face felony charges.
"If it happened on the bus, why didn't the bus driver radio for police for assistance, then pull over and have the boys taken in."
Maybe this is why --
Here in Cincinnati, a kid was acting up so bad, the bus driver pulled over and did call the cops. When the cops came, he was so out of control that they had to handcuff him. The kid's mom was so outraged at what they did to her sweet sonny-boy (why, he would never do anything like that!) that she sued the bus company, and I can't remember who else. She won.
You're right. Somehow even those in the depths of poverty manage to have their cellphone.
Help, I'm being attacked by boys ripping my clothes off?
Yes!
"If it happened on the bus, why didn't the bus driver radio for police for assistance, then pull over and have the boys taken in."
Why didn't the bus driver pull over and kick their little @$$e$ ? Perhaps it was a woman, who didn't think she could handle it. But - even so, she could have pulled over and done SOMETHING. Gimme about 10 minutes with each of these PUNKS. I swear, I think my blood pressure just went up 10 points just reading this.
Back in the old days the bus driver could have intervened, These days if the bus driver knows whats good for them they just keep their eyes on the road and their mouths shut.
My Dad drove a bus for many years, and like the Capt. of a ship his word was law. If he said you dont ride till your parents come to me for a talk. You didnt ride. If High School kids didnt behave he stopped the bus and you were ordered off. You walked home that day. I know I walked more than once myself. But then thats back before the tail wagged the dog and kids were disciplined and Principals and bus driver werent afraid of parents and got backed up by the school board.
As opposed to the two bus drivers I had in high school. One was a sixtyish man, which put him as a WW II vet; a complete no-BS type that spent more time looking in the rear-view mirror and tearing us a new one for the slightest misbehavior than he did looking out the windshield! I have no hesitation that if a serious offense had started to happen, that old man would've stopped that bus in the middle of the county road, set the parking brake, grabbed the big long-handled ice scraper, walked to the back, and beat the hell out of the offenders.
The second driver was an auxiliary county deputy sheriff. Many were the afternoons that she drove the bus before going to work the evening shift at the jail. Believe me, nothing kept the little hellions from the trailer park down the road in line more than seeing this big, mean, growly, formidable woman driving that bus in her sheriff's department browns and full kit...including her service .38 and two speedloaders.

Wait until they meet Bubba.
Libs have turned the public schools into violent little reformatories. Don't care what it'd take, if I were a parent, I'd find some way to keep my kids out: homeschooling, private schooling, etc.
My daughters are only 3 months old, and my wife and I are already looking at the private Christian schools in our area.
Shoot the bustards....they will continue to remain a menace to society.
So do they.
Didn't this happen just outside of Central Park to a group of women just walking through and a bunch of Canadians started tearing off their clothing? Yea, just about 3 or 4 years ago.
"Yea, so long as its not abusive. "
The problem is that today any touching at all by the school faculty is considered "asault" and "abusive".
"The most likely way a youngster could reach that age and be that way is weak adult figures in their life, I figure."
Absolutely. The kid in my story also got the belt when he got home. No way would a kid today face such troubles for mouthing off.
The guy in the Southwest corner looks like he's too old for the army!
And he is only in Middle School???
This is beyond disturbing.
"In my dad's bible the following passages are underlined, highlighted, and one even has the note written to the side of Dang skippy.
Prov 14:24 He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. Prov 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him. Prov 23:13 Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die. 14 Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death."
Great post.
Hey!!!! Don't be shootin' any of us bustards! Wha'd we ever do to you?
