On Hardball [Only if Youre a Republican] tonight Chris Matthews discussed no bid contracts with Rep. Pete King (R) and Rep. Bennie Thompson (D). When questioned about Chertoff and the President taking Katrina seriously, King doesnt take any crap from Chris:
KING: As far as President Bush, its wrong for you to say he wasnt caring, he certainly was caring. What he was not equipped for was to explain for the incompetency of the local officials or to explain the hysteria to anticipate the hysteria of people like you in the media who go off the deep end. Lets treat this with a little bit of rationality and a little bit of decency.
MATTHEWS: The fact is that most people trust the media on this story because the pictures of what was happening down there in New Orleans apparently got to them before they heard of any federal action.
KING: Chris you are totally distorting reality, and thats the problem with you. Youre distorting reality. Youre on this story, you and MSNBC got carried away with this. You should all be ashamed of yourself. Youve disgraced yourself and the media.
Can I get an Amen?
AMEN!!
Matthew is just a silly little twit. I think Mommy and Daddy got him a "journalist costume" for his First Communion or something and he's been making an ass of himself since.
haha Face!
No prob.
I'm pretty sharp..
;-)
Amen... And Chris Matthews is a shrill voiced bully for the Left. It is funny how he gets mowed over so often.
You're hotlinking to the video, just post the permalink to the entry.
What does this have to do with his First Holy Communion?
Pete King is terrific. The first time I saw him on Hannity & Colmes, he impressed me.
I love going to bed on a happy note!
AMEN!
If you look real close you can see the resemblance between Chris and Phil Donahue. Could they be twins?
Got it. Thanks a mil.

LOL! He really took little Crissy to the wood shed. He's the biggest crybaby alive. :o)
"I love going to bed on a happy note!"
You can thank Ian Schwartz for that! He runs the terrific Political Teen site from which I found the video.
Nothin'. It's just a description Catholics like myself would understand about an event that happened 'round about 2nd grade. Matthews was raised Catholic, too.
Bump
Amen! Rep. Pete King WTG!!
