Good evening and thanks to all of you for the warm welcome ... been lurking for quite some time. Since my good friend Dangerous Duck ''outed'' me, I thought I might as well de-lurk and tell everyone how enjoyable your posts are.
Quick story on supporting our troops: Last year on my way back from Florida, I was sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting to catch my flight home. A Delta flight from the New York area landed and some uniformed soldiers deplaned, then a few more, then several more. Well, someone in the boarding area yelled out ''THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!'', and someone else applauded, then the entire (crowded) boarding area took it up, and as the soldiers walked up the hallway to the exit, you could hear the applause and yelling rise and fall as they walked past. BIG smiles on their faces and I don't think there were too many dry eyes in the place.
So to all our troops out there, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE and for all you do for us so that we have the freedom to yell and applaud in airports!
OMG - what a GREAT story!! I hope it is repeated many, many times over all across America.
Glad to have you aboard!!!
Thank you for your post Fast Moving Angel.

Good to "see" you, Fast Moving Angel. De-lurking is a good thing. That is so cool about the cheers. Thank you for helping honor our troops.
