I was sorta hoping I'd get to see that picture you have of YOURSELF in that pink tu-tu. ;)
Well, lookie who's here! Hiya, Auntie Fawnn. And, yes, I'll share it since it is already listed in the opening thread.....see I'm not greedy.......I got it from the Unexpert - Mojo. So if you look back at the opening to this portion........
I use Paint Shop Pro 9. I was taught how to use it from a former FReeper. Actually, I was taught how to use the Animation Shop. I tooled around with Paint Shop Pro on my own. I really enjoy it and it is easy to use. The best part? There's a million tutorials online that will help you create really easy and cool graphics.

Shhhhhhhhhhh You're not supposed to let on that I haven't read all of my assignment. You promised you'd cover for me! ;)
I still primarily use PSP 7. Never got 8. Now have 9 on the newer computer but can't get into it. (I don't handle change well.)
Hey, don't worry about it. No one reads these dang threads anyway. Who's gonna know we didn't read the whole opening thread? Huh?
..Darkwing!!!. (Please ignore the copy-cat poster at the Canteen)
Will do!
Well, the cold front wasnt much of a cold front. I tossed and turned in bed. Turned out it only went down to around 70.
We have some rain in the forecast for later this week. They're forecasting 10-20 MPH winds with gust to 40. We'll have to see if we end up with any sudden power outages because of the wind. Our computer is three years old so we'll see what happens.
Did some washing yesterday. Black lab jumped up and took one of my article of clothing off the line. Had to tie him up for an hour to make him mind.
Doing well, here darkwing. Fall is moving in a little faster each day.
The question is, how are you??
Whoa, our temps went to 44F last night. Yesterday, it was warm and humid, in the early evening it started cooling down fast.
A 40 mph gust of wind will bring your laundry to NY. LOL
Doing fine, Starting looking for a new house this weekend. Looks like the market is getting soft in the panhadle due to the recent hurricanes.
HEALTH QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true? A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake? A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio? A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program? A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you? A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!. Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle? A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Is chocolate bad for me? A: Are you crazy? HELLO ...... Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Is swimming good for your figure? A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle? A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about And remember: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"
Sad news from Wisconsin this morning............two National Guard soldiers have been killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb.........article here......................please keep their families in prayer..............
