Last year in WA State there was a radio ad (political ad) featuring a woman who claimed to be a disgruntled Republican activist who was going to vote for Christine Gregoire. Research showed that no Republican officials in her district had ever heard of her, and campaign contribution records showed her making several Dem contributions over a period of years.
