I believe she wasn't even assigned to this unit and was just visiting her boyfriend on the evening caligula shift. THE OFFICERS AND NCO'S FROM HER UNIT had given her orders to stay the hell away from the prison.

Actually you are wrong. That picture is of the federal prison in Leavenworth, KS. Lynndie will likely serve her time at the disciplinary barracks (prison) on Ft. Leavenworth, KS. This picture is of the old disciplinary barracks at Ft. Leavenworth which just closed recently. I could not find a picture of the new facility.
I spent over a year at Ft. Leavenworth...outside the prison walls I might add!

Well if that is all true then why not just charge her with disobeying an order instead of hanging her with abuse.
The guys really responsible are the guys on duty at the prison and their superiors. They should have been the ones keeping her out of there.
It sounded to me like she was egged on - probably with a lot of hooping and hollaring laugh and giggling going on.
Unless you are in the U.S. military. Then its illegal. She violated the Geneva Conventions...PERIOD! She got what she deserved.

What a sad day for military justice. Any reasonable jury ought to have been able to quickly conclude that this person was plagued by some sort of a syndrome, perhaps mildly retarded.
How sad that an enlisted person like that who was just following orders was crushed by the system.
