No, Senate is an upper chamber of a parliament. It reviews laws after they are passed by the lower chamber "Sejm". It has also no say in approving the government.

You had responded to a post about the Sejm, which clearly identified it as the lower chamber, by dismissing the relevance of the Senate. I thought you thought the article was about the Senate, and I was pointig out that it was not.
