I am heading down to the Rally site now, to help with setting up - which began at 5am today. I didn't know if someone would post a live thread later. My apologies if I have stepped on any toes.
EAGLES UP !!

Rally to Honor Military Families
You are so right....
I hadn't thought of it that way...but, yessir, if they aren't Texans, Louisianans, ...
They should be here--if they support the troops!
Do you notice how our rally stays on message...and doesn't shoot off into problems in other countries..and subjects that are not related????
Dom G is up now .. Woo Hoo!!
No we have Franks, they have Fwanks!
The crowd keeps growing :)
Talk show host Dom Giordano, Philadelphia, speaking.
First caller on his radio show said "how dare you go to a rally saying you support the troops. We support the troops but we don't support the military". Huh?
I've interviewed Cindy Sheehan twice and her tagline seems to be "gotta go now - bad phone connection".
If US Military in Iraq had the chance to give us the top ten list of people who were supporting the troops, they'd say Michael Moore, Code Pink, Jane Fonda and Cindy Sheehan. LOL
As the left tries to make this Vietnam, the sequel, we have one weapon to put our side out, to let them know the what real Americans think. It's big mouths like me. It's called talk radio.
Bumpin Deborah Johns as a talk radio host!
I stand corrected. LOL
It's hard for the other bunch when their real aim is to bring about the utopia of communism and having us lose the war is just one small part of that.
Fudd...I like your pictures...
but, I have noticed that a few of our favorite freepers have drawn lines in the names of some of the women on the Republican side...
For some reason, they have been sliding a little too much to the left...not quite Pelosiland, but they are worthy of lines through their names.
Cynthia McKinney spoke....does she count?
Yup the internet, and unlike vietnam this is a volunteer military.
This is not vietnam
Thanks for the ping! Wish I saw it 90 minutes ago, but second best, I can read this thread!
Rep. Steve King introducing Major Larson who served in Iraq for a year.
Washington, D.C. - thanks for the tremendous welcome for our Gold Star Families.
I returned 7 mos. ago from Iraq and I can tell you there's nothing more important to our troops than knowing our nation stands behind them and our mission.
95% of the Iraqis are freedom loving people who for 30 years lived under the sadistic thumb of Saddam Hussein. Millions in mass graves.
As you look across the Middle East you can hear the death rattle of tyranny. We have seen more and more people who voted in free elections than in the last 6,000 years.
Joining me today are the families who lost loved ones in the combat zone who have truly brought freedom and democracy forward, not only for our nation, but for people throughout the world.
Please join me in a warm welcome for Mike, who lost his brother in Iraq.
BTTT!!!!!!
I was wrong. I didn't actually see any of them speak.
All prior service military members - please raise your hands high. Keep your hands in the air.
Before we can talk about this generation of soldiers, let's remember these soldiers from every conflict - these men and women have set the standard for this generation.
How about it for our veterans!
The only thing that is even the least bit comparable to Viet Nam is the group of idiots that gathered yesterday. Many of them have grey hair now, but most of them are the same.
