"I do need to get out of this hermetically sealed box sometime in the near future though." We'll need some pilots/robot operators for the lunar excursion. Would you care to make a short trip out of town?

Everybody's workin' for the weekend! Not me. Friday spent playing with the home wifi setup, Saturday is for the Puget Sound Chapter of Free Republic Annual Autumn BBQ Party And Get-Together (rain or shine -- and remember, we're in the Seattle area), Sunday it's off to church then back to playing with the home wifi setup...
(Weird. One laptop happily gets DHCP via WiFi from the dial-up server, the other *only* from the 802.11b/g router which serves the wrong gateway address when enabled, but anyway...)

Did you hear about the tavern/restaurant in Ohio ?
They had a sign that stated... "For Service, Speak English"
It's not PC, so they are in big trouble.
Gosh darn nanny state.

See #985. (Dang, that's like, almost a thousand and stuff!) ;) Oh, we've been higher than that -- I mean, we've racked up a lot more posts than that on a thread. The very first Undead Thread, "ZOT! Because We Can", slammed into The End Of The Internet at post #65534.
We bailed on UTII at about halfway, 30k+, because the posting lags due to the length of the thread became too much. Per Admin God advice to another group, we now move every month, about 5-6k posts, to avoid the dreaded lag.

I'm sure Jay Renno will be getting in touch with us just as soon as he sees these sleek shuttle/thrusters.
He'll need to build another garage for it, but I guess it's a good thing we made some extras.
