For nearly two months, Hillary Clinton dodged phone calls, faxes and e-mails from Moonbat Central blogger Rocco DiPippo. Neither Hillary nor her flacks would tell DiPippo whether or not the junior senator from New York supported the so-called International Freedom Center (IFC), a museum which will stand on the site of the fallen World Trade Center. The IFC reportedly plans to desecrate Ground Zero with exhibits on the evils of black slavery, the Jim Crow South, the oppression of American Indians, abuse of terrorist prisoners at Abu Ghraib and other anti-American themes.
Last night, Hillary finally broke her silence.
"I cannot support the IFC," she told Deborah Orin of The New York Post. "While I want to ensure that development and rebuilding in lower Manhattan move forward expeditiously, I am troubled by the serious concerns family members and first responders have expressed to me. The LMDC [Lower Manhattan Development Corp.] has authority over the site and I do not believe we can move forward until it addresses their concerns."
Senator Clinton's reference to "family members" and "first responders" seems disingenuous at best. New York police, firemen and 9/11 families have been screaming about the IFC since June, when the Wall Street Journal first published details of its planned anti-American exhibits. Until now, Hillary has ignored their protests.
So why speak out now? We note that Hillary made her announcement on the very night that Hurricane Rita was scheduled to make landfall. Also, Hillary made her statement exclusively to The New York Post, rather than in an open press conference. Consequently, there is no video of her statement for TV outlets to pick up. Everything about this statement seems calculated to attract as little attention as possible, probably so Hillary can reverse her position later without too many people noticing.
That said, we must give Hillary her due. At least she finally said something. We cannot say the same for Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, widely regarded as Hillary's most likely Republican challenger in the 2006 Senate race.
Pirro too has been dodging Moonbat Central since early August. "When I asked repeatedly whether Mrs. Pirro was for or against the IFC, a member of her press office refused comment," reported MBC's Rocco Dipippo on September 16.

It only took the "B" two months to figure out this was wrong. Trouble is I doubt she has any problem with it at all, except that potential voters everywhere recognize it as about as anti-American and anti-casualty families as it could be.
Yeah, I'll believe that when a bonified patriotic concept replaces the plans for this anti-American boondoggle. Until then, I'll just recognize that the despicable seems to come closer to reality every day.
Exactly.....she is also leaving the door open for a possible reversal. Bi@.....
bttt
The only problem Hillary has with it is that it honors the victims and family as to 9/11. She would have no problems if those pesky 9/11 people would just go away.
Read: Bill said I would never get elected if I supported this.

Thanks Nic.... She is sneaky
yw, Mayor; she is. What's up with Pirro, though? No comments from her, either?
She is to hillary like for me.
I think she tries to ride the middle line but why not speak out on this is a mystery to me.
I think she is hiding her true colors.
But of course she has the RINO blessings to run against her heinous.
Why avoid issues like this is beyond me.
That's what I'm beginning to think, as well, Mayor. Well, as you've seen for yourself, the people here get what they deserve, staying at home during critical local elections...and putting in so many RINO's. The others I guess have given up and are moving away. Sad that it's not looking like things will be turned around in the foreseeable future in NY (if at all).
Okay, so she told Deborah Orin of the New York Post that she opposes the IFC.
If someone from the New York Slimes asks Hillary the same question, she may tell them she is for the IFC.
Voter turn out here was 13%, why? They finally had the chance to get rid of some of the corrupt and they stayed home...
They do deserve what they get.
We (Primary Challenge) have pulled out one win, and have another one in the works.
The board of elections is taking their time counting the paper ballots and will finish that one Monday.
We will have to wait a few more days for the 3rd possibility.
My race was all machine and I still don't have the final tally, they are witholding 8 precints with possibly 400 more votes out there. I am down by 121.
Don't know if I will have enough to pull it out.
I didn't know they still hadn't counted all the votes. That's taking quite awhile, is it not?
I'll keep my fingers crossed, though your win should have been a slam dunk if people had shown up. : (
11 days.
If they showed up it would have been.
Apathy. If they didn't vote then they need to keep their mouth shut and stop complaining.
Unfortunately, it will be the 87% that will be most vocal in their complaints in the future.
Of course..
time for **bangin' head on wall**
: )
