Blanco: We help the evacuees from Texas come to Louisiana.
You maybe getting the smell of the paper mills south of Dallas around Evadale, Tx.
Moderating a weather board gives me a good heads up. ;-)
They just showed it a couple of minutes ago.
I agree...his nationality has NOTHING to do ith this tragedy..thanks for your post...
LOL!!!!!
And she's also telling us how we are going to need to give her a bunch of money to rebuild the levees. I detest this b*tch.
I'm only 126 into this thread, and I can hardly breath i'm laughing so hard about Shep and his hats. Probably was in the other thread where Shep tripped over the curb and fell, and then spent a couple of minutes explaining how he fell, ignoring the whole "I tripped over the curb".
It will be hard for the insurance companies to deny claims for the houses that are burning down.
I have been very impressed with (and glued to) KPLC out of Lake Charles. Link at the top of the thread.
She's already talking about needing money.
She says they've asked for money for years and always been denied.
I see the looking into the eye of her second CAT 3+ hurricane in less than a month hasn't helped her TRUTHFULNESS.
You'd think she just might think God may be sending her a sign.
I remember a time when the news used to tell you they were using FILE FOOTAGE but not anymore. They want to keep showing the worse footage over and over and over again making us think it is still happening.
HEre we go...
Maybe sulfer?
You are not alone.
It is *not* a good smell. I've never smelled anything like that before - except for after the LA Riots when the burned out buildings started decaying, and then it was overlaid by a burned smell.
It's like a combination of rotting vegetation, stagnant water, and rotting meat.
Is it Monday or tomorrow?
My best projection of landfall over here
"All my in-laws have suddenly gone silent, as they realize that their hometown, Lake Charles, is going to get pounded. Lots of tall pine trees around their houses, that will get snapped off and dropped through roofs.
There'll be storm surge, with water in all their houses."
I am feeling for them Sinkspur. That is what I thought would happen to my place in League City, when I left on Wednesday. My good fortune is because of someone else's pain. Wish it wasn't.
