A medieval bridge has emerged from the depths of the San Juan reservoir in
San Martin de Valdeiglesias, 70 kilometres (43 miles) outside Madrid,
as a result of dramatically low water levels, September 21, 2005.

LOL! Seriously, this also shows that the water level was much lower in pre-industrial times. What was causing the global warming then?

Obviously, when they built it, it was a time of draught that must have laster for a long time.

"They can thank the USA and Global Warming for finding this bridge."This does suggest that the earth was this warm then. If so, how did man cause it back then?

It was too difficult to rebury for preservation, so they built a dam and submerged it instead. They just dropped the water levels temporarily so the archeoengineers could get some measurements, and make sure the preservation technique was working.
They will re-submerge it when the rain in Spain again falls mainly on the plain.
