Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

Thank you for the clarification... sometimes trying to type and listen at the same time I miss the important parts :0)
Wrong again - hype-monster and a prostitute for Accu-Weather $$$$ Hype it up for big bucks.
That is what I am so concerned about this storm. If you were to keep up with the weathermen in Houston, you don't know if you believe them or not. I know they are responsible for a lot people's lives but they are also looking for ratings also and I have been trying to dice all of the information on the television and radio with the information on the internet.
I'm SO jealous. You're having fall weather.
LMAO
That is hysterical!! And he stole the Min Pin!
What happened to the deer skull and the turkey feather that usually adorn your door?
TXCN: Looters reported in Galveston, or more precisely attempted looters - problem has been taken care of.
There's a big difference between flying and hovering.
Showing people using Big Gulp cups to put gas in their cars of KHOU 11. Gas came from people's boats.
I keep hearing that people who "don't need to leave" clogged up the roads, but even without flooding the storm's at 130+ mph, right? I'm not clear about that.
My CA Nat'l Guard friend, who had been at the Astrodome and was headed home, sent us email from Ft. Stockton TX saying they were headed back to Houston this weekend.
I hope we don't see schoolbus-style pictures of ambulances under water.
How?
Takes time. Gotta let all the emergency personnel and needed supplies into the city, then post law enforcement at EVERY single on ramp. Hard to know what's right, but supposedly those on the ground know best when the conditions are right to make the changes necessary.
Nice street sweeper.
Important stuff came inside.
I see y'all have a moderate case of cabin fever already...
Cool fiddle case!
<<< Of course, when you have Sen. Landrieu and Sen. Vitter on TV yesterday demanding your tax dollars to repair all levees, and rebuild NO...and then see THIS with just some rain....>>>
They just want the MONEY, so they and their cronies can siphon off the traditional 10-15%...
And it's so absolutely BLATANT, that I'm amazed the Media isn't calling them on it!
How tall is Stephanie?
when she was in Katrina with Contore there was one night they were on together, looked like she was a good bit taller
maybe he's a short Italian guy about 5-6??
making her 5-10 or so
