I keep hearing that people who "don't need to leave" clogged up the roads, but even without flooding the storm's at 130+ mph, right? I'm not clear about that.

My CA Nat'l Guard friend, who had been at the Astrodome and was headed home, sent us email from Ft. Stockton TX saying they were headed back to Houston this weekend.

I hope we don't see schoolbus-style pictures of ambulances under water.

Riverside County USAR also went (C-5), as did 10 AMR ambulances from Sacramento to stage in San Antonio. Code 3
