If you don't mind I have one question to ask.
Why does THAT DISCUSTING RAPIST AND LIAR bJ cLINTON APPEAR On this thread? I understand you were posting pictures of Bush41 but could you find one picture without him?

I agree those of us who support the President and Vice President remember that statement made so many times during the last election campaign especially by the Vice President but one wonders how many times the average American has heard those words. On the other hand MSM would probably ignore that part of the speech so unless it was one carried by most networks live it would never be heard by the majority of Americans.

Why not just post to that thread and ask if anyone knows about your specific area? I imagine there are plenty of people there who know and can give you a heads up. I wouldn't fool around with this storm at all, if you're that close to Houston.

Now that you mention it, I can't picture Roberts in jeans. I can imagine that if he did ever wear them, he would want a crease ironed down the front!(not a "cool" way to wear jeans!) LOL

Ah, yes. The legendary need to suck up.

I'm still a victim of that little scenario.

Do what you can, but don't torpedo yourself. He wouldn't learn anything anyway.

At least he's not as much of an idiot as some.

Hey there!

I am back...finally.

Just in time to panic as the storm approaches. Tracking the path of the eye puts us pretty much in the inland nightmare instead of the coast. Lines at the gas station are getting long and I hear the local stores are out of water and bread, but we will go tonight and try to get some at a town that is further south.

Good idea you do need to know what your local authorities are advising you to do.

Do what I often do after being away for awhile: Click on the latest page and go on from there. If you don't find what YOU need, just post your question about it, and you will get Freeper help "immediately if not sooner".

This is the same professor who said "War never turns out the way you think it will...does it, George W?" He really irritates me but I REALLY want to do the DC semester. It's through the school and I would do an internship for the whole semester.

"The terrorists saw our response to the hostage crisis in Iran, the bombings in the Marine barracks in Lebanon, the first World Trade Center attack, the killing of American soldiers in Somalia, the destruction of two U.S. embassies in Africa, and the attack on the USS Cole. The terrorists concluded that we lacked the courage and character to defend ourselves, and so they attacked us."

Whoa! That one is gonna leave a mark on ol' Bubba's face!

Our normal rule is that we only show photos of the opposition if the people we support are in them as was the case here and to omit photos of Clinton would IMHO not show the correct details of an event that 41 was participating in today and we criticize when Dems omit or change events to suit them I feel if we ignored the Clinton photos we would be doing the same. It also shows how due to his good lifestyle he looks far better despite being 20 years older than Clinton a good example of how one should look after oneself.

they are relaly just saying to stay in and off the roads. They wanted the sick and elderly to leave, and if we are in a low lying area or housing that is not safe.

Your professor in an effort to seem "hip" is ignoring the fact that this war has overthrown the Taliban and Hussein, brought freedom to millions of oppressed people, established the beginnings of a democratic government in the Middle East, and has as well prevented another 9/11 attack.

Apparently, the professor is the one who didn't expect all these outcomes. Bless his heart.
