Alright. It's not necessary to do the obligatory "what are you watching CNN for anyway?" It's part of my job description. OK.
I just need to vent amongst friends. This guy is quickly rising to the top of smarmy Libs. He is a poor Andy Rooney wannabe who accompanies Wolf Blitzer afternoons at CNN. His job description is to add insight and read e-mails answering questions he throws out. Of course, he picks his favorites to read. Everything designed to slime Bush. Not even a hint of objectivity. I just saw him ask, "what will be different with response to Rita after Katrina?" Of course, he reads Bush bashing e-mail responses. First one (so freakin predictable) says it's his home State they will get everything they need. Next e-mail says "Condi will buy her new shoes before hurricane hits." Typical boilerplate DU stuff. No wonder this guy is quickly becoming "The Man" at Daily Kos. Rant Off.
What is this CNN you speak of?
boy are they going to be surprised when this thing hits Louisiana again. Hopefully Blanco is taken mostly out of the equation now and Thad Allen / Gen Honore runs the show.
I always kind of figured Jack had a fax machine right by his desk that fed him the hourly talking points from the DNC, so he was never off message.
Is Cafferty still hitting the bottle like he did in NY?
Historically, CNN was the first channel claiming to be 24 hour news available only through cable. Although, in practice, it is little more than a sounding board for the democrat party and nonstop editorials by a series of leftists. One can obtain the same amount of news by glancing into a newspaper dispenser box and reading the top 3 or 4 headlines without delving into the actual text.
I've repeatedly made this prediction, just because I know how life usually goes.
It's part of your "job description" to watch CNN? Find another job. :)
Tell him he's right, and if his state doesn't vote GOP next time, they're next for being shunned.
I can't stand that guy
Jack Cafferty is so over! I think CNN told him to play "Andy Rooney on steroids or you're outta here". What can CNN be thinking to put this wannabee comedian has-been on a serious news show?
Cafferty's nasty schtick is just plain embarrassing, but a well-known media type explained, CNN is reduced to playing to it's liberal audience. OK, I understand that, but there's no explaining why CNN has Wolf Blitzer prancing around the set like he has to pee. And somebody please!! Hem Wolfie's big boy pants!!
Oh oh, the best part, Wolf constantly points his finger at the wall of television screens, "Lookie here, we got tvs on the wall!" I think "The Situation Room" must be where they sent Cafferty and Blitzer to die, humiliated, broken men.
So the guy says to the doctor, "It hurts when I do this."
he was a local NY TV News Douche....now he is a Clinton News Network Douche.
And the doctor says, "well don't do that."
I guess CNN has given up actually trying to increase their ratings, and instead sticking with what is putting them in the cellar.
Keeping a watch for others on this CNN, is ok. My liberal spouse has it on all the time. My trusty PC just across the room. Today, a bright new lad, replete with an Andersonian blue shirt, was at the traffic line ups,for CNN. This to exit Rita. He was controlled but souped up. He obviously was generating excitement.
A big question for a young couple was " how does it feel to be stuck in a vehicle for over half an hour".
I thought that the ultimate for CNN, would be if the world was due to come to an end in five days. Then they could have a number of orgiastic interviews and blame- er,' I will give you only one guess. LOL
And then Wolf french kisses Cafferty. "Oh Jack. Our viewers love you Jack. You're such an important part of the 'Situation Room'." Air sickness bag please
While CNN is certainly slanted left I think it's equally true that FOX is slanted to the right. Would be nice to have a new service that was nuetral and was truly 'fair and balanced.' Guess I'll just keep getting most of my news from the internents.
Perfect description of that horrible show that in part took the place of an equally horrid show, Crossfire!!!
The bad thing is, they kept the idiots from Crossfire to come prance around with Wolfie!!
I saw Cafferty during the Katrina coverage and I wanted to throw something at the TV, he was such a smarmy twit!
