"At an election rally the supporters of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend threw OREO cookies at Mr. Steele when he and his wife and kids arrived."

I thought this type thing only happened in the South </sarcasm>

hmmmm...

Requests by others to view your credit history will show you who has received information from your credit report and who was given your name during the recent past, as allowed by law. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, credit grantors with a permissible purpose may inquire about your credit information without your prior consent. This section includes the date of the inquiry and how long the inquiry will remain on your report.

I would also like to know where in hell those spineless Republicans are. I was talking with a very Conservative friend of mine, yesterday, and we both wondered why oh why we never hear the Republicans defending the President. I'm so sick of their "my friend from across the aisle " crap.

Thanks for setting me straight on which files were which. There is so much information that is found on FreeRepublic it is hard for me to keep all the facts straight. I should have checked further.

Singer's statement continued, in part, by saying "the DSCC also launched an internal review into this matter, ascertained that it was an isolated incident and has put safeguards in place to ensure that no employee ever does this again."

Yuh, right. At least until the next time, huh?

I can't WAIT to hear this at the top of the evening news, but I won't hold my breath. On the other hand, if it were Repub. staffers doing this to a potential Democrat nominee, not only would the media be screaming for the staffers to resign in disgrace, the entire leadership of the RNC would be hounded until they did the same!!

Maryland was the south. We were south of the Mason-Dixon line. We had families broken up because of the mixed alliances between the Union and The Confederates. Lincoln sent Union troops to Baltimore to protect the supply lines from being attacked by Confederate sympathizers. Baltimore just last week commemorated "Defenders Day".

Ping to #56 and #57. I was wrong about the files. It appears they were the Rose Law firm files I was remembering.

Or Jonathan Hunt. He clamped onto the UN puke friend of Kofi's and never let go. He was great.

I sent a message to both my senators about just this very thing. I told McCain to get "off his high horse" and start defending the Pres. if he wanted to EVER be elected again.

So what do I hear out of him today??? He's meeting with that Anti American woman (who's traveling all over the country on the back of her dead son)Cindy Sheena. Lot of good my message did!!!!!

Isn't this also the same state that wanted to lock-up Linda Tripp for daring to record a conversation...in order to defend herself? Being the law & order folks they are I'm sure they'll pursue this to the full extent of the law.

I'm so sick of the media's selective outrage when it comes to crimes committed by Democrats. While we have yet to see the end-result of this crime, if it follows the normal media precedent, we probably won't hear too much more about it. Just as we didn't when the old folks in Florida taped a Gingrich conversation that was turned over to Congressman McDermott for public dissemination by the NY Times.

This media that celebrates the anniversary date of Watergate every year, continually ignores democrat crimes that pale in comparison. Chuck Colson went to jail for possessing and disseminating one FBI file...yet no one was ever held accountable in the Clinton administration for the over 800 FBI files that ended up in their White House. In fact, Ken Bacon's dissemination of Linda Tripp's personal file to the press was similar to that of Colsons, yet no one seemed to care...especially the press.

Whether it was Clinton's use of the IRS to target political enemies, Toricelli taking bribes, or even the secret taping of GOP campaign meetings (as one of Tom Harkin's campaign men did to Greg Ganske)...the media never cares about the crimes that Democrats commit, and which are often more outrageous than anything Republicans have done. For all liberals, the ends truly do justify the means.

I don't recall, but I believe there was talk about some boxes of files in the bedroom. No one is sure how they got there. Maybe the "upstairs maid" brought them in for a little light reading after dinner and a cigar.

Chuck the Mother Schmucker needs to resign. By the way, Steele has a degree from Johns Hopkins University, a bastion of liberalism and making him kind of like President Bush, who has degrees from both Harvard and Yale.

The report is they got his SS# from a public document. hmmm. Bet the Baltimore Sun and the RATS in MD won't be crying for an independent investigation on this one. Glad at least the FBI is involved.
Steele is great and should blow the weak competition out of the water.
