"You Don't Speak For Me, Cindy" bus tour comes to Denver

Late last night I was pinged that Move America Forward will be in Denver on Wednesday at noon. After a lot of scrambling, arrangements were made so that I could go and the President of the Longmont Republican Roundtable agreed to come with me.

A few blocks before arriving at the Capitol, I see a bus that obviously belongs to the enemy.
I still haven't figured out how Al Qaeda got a bus into Denver.

We were blessed with nice weather, and I was hoping for a great turnout.

I met FReeper ajolympian2004 and he unveiled an awesome poster he just had made for the rally. He will post a picture of it later.

I met several women who were with a group known as the Rocky Mountain Military moms.

Deborah Johns and Goldstar dad Joe Williams were being interviewed on The Mike Rosen radio show, so everyone enjoyed getting acquainted until the bus arrived.With much anticipation and excitement someone in the crowd yelled,

"There's the bus," which resulted in a lot of screaming, flag waving and celebrating

We said The Pledge of Allegiance

and sang The Star-Spangled Banner

I have so many stories and pictures it's hard to decide what to include. I know ajolympian2004 will have a lot to add tomorrow.

What I want to leave with those of you reading this is this...this was very last minute, no advanced planning at all and it was wonderful. It means so much to these military families to know that they have our prayers and support. Please try to make the effort to give up some of your time, to show our troops and their families how much we appreciate what they are doing for us.

Don't think so. I think her blood relatives have disassociated themselves from her completely.

Come to think of it, it wouldn't be that difficult for her to find 29 "friends" in Washington. There are plenty of "America hating, race baiting, anti-military, hostile, hysterical communists" there. We can start with the Senators...Kennedy, Kerry...

We were driving by when I took the picture and I didn't notice the flag until I uploaded the pictures onto the computer. I think it was on their bus, but I don't recognize what it is.

Even though some FReeps of the Witch tour have been canceled to avoid giving her attention, I think that a good rally like the one here, giving attention to the other bus, is very helpful!
