Late last night I was pinged that Move America Forward will be in Denver on Wednesday at noon. After a lot of scrambling, arrangements were made so that I could go and the President of the Longmont Republican Roundtable agreed to come with me.

A few blocks before arriving at the Capitol, I see a bus that obviously belongs to the enemy.
I still haven't figured out how Al Qaeda got a bus into Denver.

We were blessed with nice weather, and I was hoping for a great turnout.

I met FReeper ajolympian2004 and he unveiled an awesome poster he just had made for the rally. He will post a picture of it later.

I met several women who were with a group known as the Rocky Mountain Military moms.

Deborah Johns and Goldstar dad Joe Williams were being interviewed on The Mike Rosen radio show, so everyone enjoyed getting acquainted until the bus arrived.With much anticipation and excitement someone in the crowd yelled,

"There's the bus," which resulted in a lot of screaming, flag waving and celebrating

We said The Pledge of Allegiance

and sang The Star-Spangled Banner

Seems rather odd to use the evil-Mr. Burns-frog pic for an honest excellent achievement, though... I don't see Jan as much like Mr. Burns!!!

Thank you Former Dodger, but I'll pass "our" frog to Deborah Johns and Gold Star Dad Joe Williams.They are so inspirational.

The media enjoys reporting the vile and hate coming from the hate America crowd. It is sickening and the pleasure they derive from reporting the negative makes me sick!Talk about aiding and abetting the enemy.How do these people look at themselves in the mirror? I guess that's it....they DON'T!

To hear these military parents speak with pride about their children who are serving and the love they have for this GREAT Country, makes me so proud to be an American, and made me so glad that I was there yesterday to show them that yes, we do support our troops AND their mission!

If you take a look at the picture Former Dodger posted, you may "see" that "our" frog is clapping his...Hmmm...I guess those are legs...hands...? You get the idea. That is the "excellent" post award for our ping group. I don't even know who Mr. Burns is, but I know FD was just telling me, "Great Job"

I may be an evil conservative...but that's for a different thread. Then there's my fight against Islam, but we won't go there, either, right? I know one thing we DO agree on is the support of the troops!

I was saying no more frog pictures from Gondring, since for some reason he was equating them with evil, and as an evil conservative, I want something a lot more threatening than a frog! ;o)

I was just trying to explain to Gondring that the hand clapping frog from Former Dodger was an award, not an insult.

I had a great time! I was so impressed with the military moms there at the rally. It's such a shame that the media only reports one side of the story. The coverage that the foulmouthed, disgusting Ms Sheehan has received, versus the mothers that have the other point of view is unconscionable.
I guess we should be use to it by now, I just don't understand why the MSM HATES this Country so much!

Some say we are just bringing more attention to the protesters by standing up to them. That is the furthest thing from the TRUTH. It is that thinking that has given such a loud voice to the very vocal MINORITY. The majority has been complacent and silent for far too long.

We mistakenly think because we are a majority, or because our Country is the most powerful, that our Freedoms can't be taken away from us. It is happening right before our very eyes...look what the ACLU has accomplished just in the past few years.

It's time to wake up and fight back.It's time to hold the MSM and the liberals accountable for their blatant lies and misrepresentation.

Thanks again for pinging me to this event. It was so refreshing to hear Deborah Johns and Gold Star Dad Joe Williams speak. They were a breath of fresh air and the military moms I met were very thankful (just like those at Walter Reed) that we were there to support the troops.

We were very fortunate that we didn't have any of the anti Freedom crowd there. There were a few that looked like they may NOT be supporters, but they never said a word. I'm hoping to get to go counter the Freedom haters in Denver on Saturday.

I think the banner the military moms were holding is going to be sent to one of their sons in Iraq. The Move America Forward banner will be displayed at the rally in DC this weekend and then sent to the troops.

I saw the photo of you with Deborah Johns and Joe Williams as I was stationed at command central with Kristinn and tgslTakoma. We all were happy for you!!!

We still have much to do tomorrow before the FReep. Excitement and exhaustion are already creeping in on us all. Kristinn has a phone growing from his ear as he does 5 or 6 things at once. It is an amazing experience to be a part of it all! I must say G'night my FRiend. We have people arriving from Maine, Indiana and S Carolina tomorrow. Takoma is working on a new MOAB for Saturday and I am assigned to making a new last minute sign. LOL - wait til you see them! Wish you could be here with us, but hey, Colorado needs FReeped, too!
