LOL!!! Sounds like you had a blast. I love Journey.
No I didn't know anything about that website.
Guess MIL will just have to do with 2 outta 3 sons! She'll be okay!
Yeah, I guess you are right. I wasn't taking into account how long they've been there, etc.
It will be interesting to see how well the fuel truck idea works.
When is Rita expected to make landfall? Do these people have a chance of getting out ahead of it with traffic not moving?
Hon, I worked with Aggies for years. Wanna hear what I did to the VP of our division, who also graduated from Texas A&M?
CB750's were the yardstick that other bikes were measured by for years ~ then everyone started making multi-cylinder bikes.
I've had a couple of in-line fours, the best was a 1981 GS1100ex Suzuki, I rode it for 10 years, it was bullet proof and gave me no trouble what-so-ever.
I wore out lotsa rear tires. :)
Live to ride ~ bump!
I sure do! :o)
Not to be indelicate--but what are all those people doing about....mmmmmm....potty breaks? Do they have porta-potties up and down the freeways? Just curious.
Worst part about a cruiser is when you have to pick it up!! I've found that out twice so far. :(
Tank thinks that a naked sport might be more comfortable for me...I have issues with my legs falling asleep and my tailbone getting sore very quickly. It's not too much of an issue right now, but when we start doing longer rides something is going to have to change.
I think that's why he likes the 750's so much. They were the first, and his first love. This is his 2nd or 3rd one. It was a custom, but he's got all of the components to turn it into a super sport. They are all waiting for me to get the airbrush out and get them painted!
Let it all hang out????
I thought I told you about that, hon.
Go to www.wilsoncountynews.com . Send them radioman's photo, rank and branch of service and they post it on a special page called "America's Heroes." The tiny paper in Floresville, Texas gets over 1000 hits per week from our soldiers all over the world! My son's pic is on there from when he got out of basic training. I laugh every time I think about it because he smiled in the pic and his drill sargent made him do 50 pushes for smiling. Matt's reply was, "But I'm HAPPY drill sargent!"
Wanna buy a burka????
You call that being delicate? LOL! Only you and your voices......!
Yes, I am also interested in the fuel truck idea and if it is going to work.
Eye is supposed to make landfall in the TX/LA border area early am Saturday.
Traffic is now moving on I - 45 North and I - 10 West. They haven't reported anything about 59 N. or S. or I - 10 East.
290 Northwest won't have contra-flow. It was a parking lot. I haven't heard any recent reports about it.
Traffic in the downtown area is thinning although still quite heavy.
Do you know the 80% - 20% rule? :-)
Texas seems to have its act together! Good job! Thanks for the update.
I was also a Boy Scout, & an avid camper (at one time)....
Red.....#800!!
I thought I saw lots of people having meals together along the highway. At least they are making a party out of a bad situation! Only in Texas!
Publius.....#750!!
Be prepared....I gottcha! But I'll bet most of these people have never gone in the woods or wherever! LOL!
The surfers are being run off and given tickets. Good for the cops!
