I may catch hell for this, but I was so incensed I had to post this. Here is a paraphrase of what I just heard today at about 1:30 pm pst. The subject was hurricane Katrina and the government's response:
Caller: They were loading the people at the Dome onto buses and not even telling them where they were going. That was horrible. It was like...
Rhodes: Yes, your so right. You know what it reminded me of? I was at the Hollocaust Memorial in DC. They had a display of those, you know, cattle cars. And they were loading the victims into them. You think they were told were they were going? Of course not.

Who ?
What I meant was ?
The liberals/leftist/MSM are going to make political hay about these peoples comments ( and we can be sure the race baiter's will use these comments to father their agendas , it's so predictable ) of being herded as animals into the Super Dome just like the Nazis did to the Jews in WWII, but, the irony of it all is ?
The liberals, race baiter's ( Louis Farrakhan and other leaders of the left ) made bogus propaganda statements in the passed to the effect that the Jewish Holocaust never happened.

In NYC there are two afternoon talk options... Here in the bay area we have a time lag, so Rush goes off the air at 12:00 and Sean comes on at 3:00. In between is Dr. Laura, which I can only take so much of. But simultaneously two stations have Air America, one with Randi Rhodes the other with Schultz. I sometimes flip between the two if I am in the car during those hours (as was the case today).

As the child of a Holocaust survivor... You might appreciate this anecdote: A number of years ago my wife and I, with our kids, visited the Holocaust Memorial, my boys were 14 and 12 at the time. They gave each of the four of us a card which traced the story of a Holocaust victim, the idea being you read about the person, then at the end you flip the court over and see what happened to your person. I cheated, I looked at all four cards before giving them out. All four survived. I went back to the person and asked for different cards, as I wanted to have a more realistic impact on my kids. The woman appreciated my thinking and gave me a different set of cards. That one had two survivors.
The memorial in DC is one that is very moving. That was part of what added to my anger regarding her statement. Yours feelings are much more personal and understandable.

Well now that the survivors are history or about to pass into it, its up to us to protect their memory from defamation or historical falsification.

I watched Al Franken today on the Sundance channel,I think it's Sundance. He and the female working with him are two of the dumbest radio hosts in the history of radio. They are boring and they can't come up with anything original so they attack Bill O'riley. After five minutes I had to change the channel before I spit at that goofball Franken.

Yes, it's Sundance. I think she's there just to make certain a sentence gets completed once in a while.

Only if SOMEONE ELSE is picking up the tab, of course. Liberals are always very generous with someone else's $$$

Actually, the guy who wanted medical care because it's free & he's not having to work wanted meds for an "old sciatic nerve" problem and wanted free medicine for his heartburn because he's having to buy TUMs and Rolaids. Nevermind he has no bills and was given a debit card from the Red Cross.
