If you are in the path of this storm, please sign in here, so that the rest of us can keep track of our "displaced" friends and family.
And when you return, remember to sign in, as we will be looking for you!

I'm here... I'll be "ridin' the storm out" in the good ole Houston Heights.
My son Brandon, Westheimer/Fountaiview in Houston.
My sister Alexis the Bengal Kitty, Hwy 6 @ Bellaire, Houston.
BTTT
Hey fhlh, I'm riding it out. I live over on Memorial/Gessner. If gets to cat 5 are you staying?
Fort Bend County - (next to Houston to the southwest) - about 50 miles inland from Galveston
Are you ready to "camp-out" for at least 3 days? Take care over there.
Johnb838 Reporting for duty, just south of Lakewood Church. Did not flood during Allison, a bit concerned about the wind, but don't have any large trees around, going to hang in there. Not really any way out until the coastal people get clear anyway.
Cat5? I'll prolly hit 290 to Austin EARLY Friday AM.
by the time it hits downtown houston... it should only be a cat 4, only :( Don't know if I want to be around for that.
I stayed during Alica in 83, but this might be much bigger.
Dirtboy's parents finally wised up and are getting out of Rockport.
Just outside the Loop from you. I'm watching the track closely. At least, we should be prepared for extended loss of power.
One of my best friends lives in a wonderful home in Palacios, TX. If the track holds Rita will go right over her home. I called her at 5AM this morning and told her and her family to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE. So we're meeting up in College Station. Her son goes to A & M and has a large apartment there. That's where I'll be. If I can get online at Stephens apartment I'll be checking it.
I just got off the phone with my Mom. We have many relatives out in Katy and the Sugar Land areas. They are not staying and attempted to get hotel reservations in other parts of TX. The closest they could find was in Little Rock where they are headed as I write this.
Actually I am leaving - just made a management decision - y'all be safe I'll check in when I can
I and my family are in Pasadena, but we are bugging out to central TX.
I thought you posted last night that you weren't going to ride it out!!!
Our family and three cars are headed to Austin. As a side note, this seemed like the perfect time to part with our really old and feeble dog. It just wasn't worth figuring out what to do with her.
