I just heard on the radio that Harry Reid was quoted in the Washington Times as saying that the nomination of any of the 10 fillibustered judges would be a "poke in the eye with a sharp stick."
This was seen as a warning for Bush not to nominate Priscilla Owen to the Supreme Court.

"Not a problem. Nominate Janice Rodgers Brown."
That would fit "my" plan exactly.

If Priscilla Owen would be a "poke in the eye with a sharp stick", then I guess Janice Rogers Brown would be a real anal probe for ol' Squint and the other RATs! I say bring her on!

Well, Harry. I believe your "No" vote, and for that matter, any Dems' "No" votes, on Roberts would be a poke in Bush's eye with a dull stick.
I'd say that would be a good case of "an eye for an eye", aye Harry?

Well, except for Feinstein...
