I thought it would be a neat idea to dedicate a thread to quotes from General Honore. This guy is so cool he just cracks me up big time and I think he deserves to have a thread dedicated to his 'tell it like it is' verbiage. Please add to the list!
I'll start with today's "Honore" quote..........

My husband was under a different command chain in Korea, but he was stationed at the same base where Honore was the commander. I won't pass along where they butted heads, but I do have some stories... ;-). Suffice it to say, though, that the better half figures he's a VERY good man for the job he's doing in New Orleans and not just because of not having to work with him himself. His "colorful sayings" were particularly "colorful" in Korea.
I do believe he's of French lineage but was born in Louisiana.
