In a blockbuster radio segment, Matt Drudge reminded a caller who sounded suspicously like Cinday Sheehan that 795 Americans -- mostly poor, black and elderly-- died in Chicago in 1995 (on Clinton's wacth)during a heatwave because they were to poor to have air conditioning. No one in the media demanded the head of James Lee Witt, nobody in the lib media demanded Bush to apologize. Nobody in the media said Clintoon was too busy hanging out with Barb Streisand to give a crap about the black urban poor.
Every right-leaning talk radio station in the country should remind their listeners about this.
By the way, the first time I heard this despicable display of hypocrisy was a caller on Laura Ingraham's show last Tuesday.
Not surprising that Slate would pull the evidence-- God the lib media is SHAMELESS.
I'd like to see a columnist write a story on this.
Please don't hold you breath.
Absolutely
I agree, it's a great response. However, as I already posted, Rush was the first to respond with it, and he did so over a week ago. And then, several hours after Rush brought it up, I saw the first post about it on Free Republic. I'm not sure if Drudge posted anything about it on his site during the week. So, if Drudge is only revealing it now, he's just part of the response, which has been ongoing for over a week now.
Well let it spread like wildfire in the wake of Clinton's disgraceful Sunday morning show appearance.
Glad to hear Drudge is reminding people of the 1995 heat wave in Chicago that happened on Klintoon's watch, but I'm pretty sure I heard Rush talk about this several times during his radio show well over a week ago.
The number I always heard was 15000.
That may all be true, but I didn't and I'd like to think I am more informed than the average voting sheep.
Sometimes silence is golden, concerning those specific remarks by GWB, that would have been one of those times.
It seemed like Rush picked up that post as soon as I had read it on FR.
Oooh! Please tell. What happened to Clinton today about this heat-wave story.
He wasn't asked about it-- he existed in a purely consequence free zone. Everybody licked his butt per usual.

Wow, I kinda wish we had a Michael Moore.
<<
We do. His name is Michael Moore.
You're forgetting that those 1995 heat wave deaths were caused by global warming and Bush's subsequent refusal to sign Kyoto. Same reason Katrina happened. Same reason I had a nasty cough today.
A great article was written by Thomas Galvin about the story that I posted here a week ago. I alerted Mark Levin, and Mark spoke about it last week. Unfortunately, Galvin complained to JimRob about copyright violation and it was removed. On Galvin's site, he thanked Mark for talking about it on his show. I just sent him an email tellilng him that I was the one who posted it on FR and alerted Mark. I told Galvin he does not need to worry. None of his articles will be sent to any of the shows I call any longer.
"I need Rush, Hannity, Savage and O'reilly to mention it. I need it to get to get forward through e-mail 10 million times."
It's still Sunday. Wait til Monday. They will pick it up for sure.
Thats a good one :)
