Timmy in on asking Thad Allen about what the testing found in the water. He says e-coli and that there is no potable water in the city at the moment. Also, the levees are in a weakened state. Apparently Nagin wants all the folks to come on back now. Allen is working on an evac plan.

Allen is working on an evac plan. Wow. Bet it costs less than what was previously diverted from evac planning, and I bet the resulting plan will be more workable to boot.

You would have thought the Mayor and the Governor would have learned their lesson and let the experts advise them but no all they can see is money being lost and the dems say the Republicans are the big business money obsessed party. I think this proves that they are not.
Also dare I say the Mayor is also concerned that more corruption will come to light the longer people are away once they start to return he can continue to cover it up.
