You would have thought the Mayor and the Governor would have learned their lesson and let the experts advise them but no all they can see is money being lost and the dems say the Republicans are the big business money obsessed party. I think this proves that they are not.

Also dare I say the Mayor is also concerned that more corruption will come to light the longer people are away once they start to return he can continue to cover it up.

Hi snugs, I agree with you on this too. Nagin and Blanco have to have the people back in their attempt to remake their images and keep control. But, learned their lesson? I doubt it. The lesson is never trust a liberal, and they don't have the capacity to understand why.

Watching CG's Allen on MTP -- impressed with his responses to Timmy's baiting. Pretty obvious that the mayor is at odds with Allen with regard to reentry. Need basic infrastructure up and running, and a realistic evacuation plan in place in the event that another storm comes their way. Tim's baiting him with why aren't all areas entered three weeks after the storm and why 2,500 children still not reunited with family. (To the first, Allen responds that weren't able to enter St. Bernard parish until yesterday due to water. To the second, I heard that the data base of children has not been updated due to some reunions not reported and the actual number now is down to 250 children.)

Looking at Allen's uniform, it appears he's got wings on the uniform on the left side. Is he a flyer?
