Unfortunately they are not people to break a confidence so you can bet your bottom dollar anything said in private will not come from their lips. They may think it but never say it.

I think Allen is playing good-cop, bad-cop with General Honore at his side to control the media and PR.

Brazil got burned by her own party and is not a happy camper, but I certainly remember her defending that Gore ad with the truck and chain in Texas. Plus, she was bragging over her ability to deliver black votes using whatever would be necessary to do it. Maybe it's just me but I do not trust her to either be fair or honest.

That in my view was another mistake yes continue search and rescue but she should have assigned some of the guard to stopping the looters as they must have been hampering the rescue as rescue services could not go to areas where there was gang warfare.
IMHO should have been a joint operation of law enforcement and rescue.

All that poetry reading did John a lot of good, he married a Coke head that had violent temper tantrums, and was physically abusive to John even in public. Caroline strikes me as a tortured person, who unfortunately had seriously flawed relatives as role models. It is ironic that as good a role model her Mother was, she made a serious error in judgment when she Became Jackie O. She did it for her Children undoubtedly, but she was talented in her own right and did not have to stoop to the Greek Shipping magnate to give her Children a decent life.

We just got hurricane warnings for the Keys, is there a thread on this yet? They interrupted Stuffy Stephy on channel 10 out of Miami.

Sounds as good option walking the dog to watching Clinton I shall go and visit mum at the home instead of watching slick willie as MTP comes on about 5.00pm in the UK (12 noon Eastern).

Juan's talking points must have been delayed. It has to be Karl Rove or hurricane Katrina to blame. Or, my favorite, there was just too much to choose from and he could not decide which ones would be best. Katrina, taxes, Iraq, Rove.... So many opportunities and so little time.....

I was wondering if my second hand info was related correctly when I posted? We really need to get this info out there, and there is so much not being reported that maybe the MSM knows why it took so long for everyone to respond because of all those thugs that were not even local pond scum for NOLA.

It would appear the President's speech rattled a few heads at the DNC. Looks like they trotted Clinton out to shore up the base.

Clinton's ideas of business helping mean raising their taxes so government can to the work. Businesses (Corps.) don't pay taxes. Consumers do. The RATS just can't get off that spinning wheel.

Looks like this has been buried so far. I will be very surprised if it resurfaces. They did the same trick during Andrew. Great post samantha.
