Members of a secret Pentagon intelligence unit known as Able Danger warned top military generals that it had uncovered information of increased al Qaeda "activity" in Aden harbor less than three weeks before the attack on the USS Cole, The Post has learned.
In the latest explosive revelation in the Able Danger saga, two former members of the data-mining team are expected to testify to the Senate Judiciary Committee next week that they uncovered alarming terrorist activity and associations in Aden weeks before the Oct. 12, 2000, suicide bombing of the U.S. warship that killed 17 sailors.

From last month:
"I desperately wish that I had been president when the FBI and CIA finally confirmed, officially, that bin Laden was responsible for the attack on the U.S.S. Cole," Clinton tells New York magazine this week. "Then we could have launched an attack on Afghanistan early."
Is it just me or do others think we need to re-constitute the AbleDanger datamining function and duplicate it in the various law enforcement groups?
I thought that was worth repeating:
I heard on Michael Savage that the Pentagon, consisting of Clinton Left Overs and State department RINOS is trying to talk the White House into not allowing the Able danger hearings to be public.
I wanted to post this as headline on the FR message board but, I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Anyway, I sure hope the GOP does not allow this very important
revelation regarding the travesty of the 9-11 Commission be withheld from the American Voters.
Thank You

Just waiting to see if the next thing that is exposed is information about the Oklahoma Bombing. I remember first on the scene witness accounts of saying they saw Middle Eastern looking men in Ryder Trucks.
I heard this on Savage too. And this is a FoxNews link on the subject of 'closed door':

God bless Curt Weldon. I remember one of his earlier Chinagate speeches. Amazing. Might still have it on video. A fire eater, that one.
However, being that this is intel-related, it will be very difficult to get an open-door hearing. Loose lips, and all-- especially when the left wants it quiet.
That's certainly interesting info.
I think that's how this Able Danger thing came about. There were hearings looking into OKC, the missing FBI computers etc.. (including at least one with classified info (maybe three). I printed this out someplace in this pile of ....
"The Leprechaun knows that Hitlery has copies of his phone sex tapes and he's towed her line ever since he paid the hush money to the girl."
Got a link? Hannity/Keyes or Hannity/Rice 2008, talk about strong tickets! If Keyes were the VEEP, our foreign and domestic foes would be insane to assassinate Hannity.
"...especially if it gets little notice now, it might get lots of notice in 2008..."
I've been giving this concept a lot of thought and don't agree. The problem with the Clintons is, which scandal to talk about first? There isn't enough time in one election cycle to cover all the Clinton scandals. Sooner rather than later. Bury them early and keep them buried. That's my thought.
Focus, focus, focus. We all need to work together to defeat Sen Clinton in 2008 or we will surely lose.
At my age, I'm getting impatient.
"Focus, focus, focus. We all need to work together to defeat Sen Clinton in 2008 or we will surely lose."
There isn't enough time though. I remember someone lectured me to focus about Monica when we had Ron Brown, Chinagate, and other scandals to talk about, too.
What we'd end up doing is piling on one issue at the last minute. Just consider. There must be over a thousand scandals. There simply isn't enough time if we start bringing them up today.
You are 100% correct. Murdoch profited handsomely for his then-stunning alliance with Tony Blair. I am convinced he has already struck up the first of many deals with Hillary for his full support.
