The throngs of "anti-war" marchers heading to DC to attend the September 24th rally don't know that they are being used.
CodePINK and United For Peace and Justice are both prodigy of Global Exchage, the 501(3)c non-profit formed by Global's Medea Benjamin.
Using the attraction of a Hate America event to lure attendees, Code Pink's Medea Benjamin's cash cow, Global Exchange, has scheduled one of it's "Green Festivals" for the same weekend and is running it in competition with the anti-war events scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
How convenient?
How many people will wind up at the Green Festival instead of in the streets? How much profit will Medea Benjamin make?
Global Exchange made over $7 million in 2003, why a run the Green Festival in competition with the anti-war march on the 24th?
Friday night is a "fund raiser" for the Green Festival, price $50.
Saturday and Sunday, you can attend the Green Festival at the Convention Center, provided of course you had Medea and her husband, Kevin Danaher, the $15 for a ticket.
On the schedule as a speaker are Medea herself and "Authors and activist from the new CODEPINK book, Stop the Next War Now". How nice. How profitable.
WHY IS AIR AMERICA BROADCASTING FROM MEDEA'S MONEY MAKER INSTEAD OF THE ANTI WAR RALLY?
Why are Amy Goodman, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, Greg Palast, Lester Brown, Daniel Ellsberg, Alisa Gravitz, John deGraaf, Lois Gibbs, Rev. Graylan Hagler, Dr. Alan Greene. Priya Haji, Van Jones, Gifford Pinchot III, Nora Pouillon, Barbara Krumsiek, Nora Poullion, Brock Evans, Ariel Gore, Michael Toms, Zoe Weil and other visionary leaders speaking at the Green Festival and not the rally? Because it's the "Benjamins for Benjamin Weekend"!

HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO BET SHE'S STAYING IN A FOUR STAR HOTEL?
Back when she went to "Inspect" Edgewood Aresenal, their "Home Away From Home" was the Hotel Pennsylvania next to the Willard. Both hotels are way out of the reach of the New Orleans flood victims.
CodePINK, The Halliburton of Protest, The Communist WalMart, The Biggest Business of the Hate America Left
Make that Hotel Washington. Check her expense account for the receipt.
Greedy Limosine Commies make me sick.

Susan "Susie" Benjamin aka Medea's husband is Executive Producer of Green Festivals. He is also a co-founder of Global Exchange.
He is now working on creating a permanent Green Festival--www.greenmart.us--a downtown building in San Francisco that will be the wholesale/retail green everything store.
******
Medea's husband
* Kevin Danaher, Veteran Human Rights Activist and co-founder of Global Exchange, will discuss long term responses to terrorism and grassroots ways to respond to global economic forces.
Described by The New York Times as the "Paul Revere of globalization's woes,"
Kevin is an executive producer of the Green Festivals, two-day events bringing together hundred of green economy companies, social justice and environmental organizations, speakers, live music, organic food and drink, and tens of thousands of attendees hungry for a transition to the green economy. He is now working on creating a permanent Green Festival--www.greenmart.us--a downtown building in San Francisco that will be the wholesale/retail green everything store.
Justice, Not War: "A momentous decision confronts us as a nation: Do we define the violence of Sept. 11 as an act of war or as a crime against humanity?," Danaher asks his audiences. "If we define it as war, it couches the issues in nationalist sentiment and separates us from the people of other nations. If we define it as a crime against humanity, it holds the potential for uniting humankind against the scourge of terrorism." Mr. Danaher will discuss how the US must, among other things, work for the establishment of an international criminal court and dedicate itself to ending global poverty if we are to succeed in abolishing international terrorism.
Fifty Years is Enough: The Case Against the World Bank and the IMF: Exploring the themes of Kevin's book, this talk argues how the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, by controlling hundreds of billions of dollars and setting the policy agenda in developing countries, keep developing economies open to corporate penetration, but promote policies that destroy the environment and undermine the standard of living for the majority.
Corporations are Gonna Get Your Mama: Globalization and the Downsizing of the American Dream: Based on Kevin's book, this talk focuses on the negative effects of globalization in the US, explaining how corporate globalization is exporting US jobs, bankrupting our government, undermining democratic principles, and destroying our environment.
Dr. Danaher has published articles in The Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, The International Herald Tribune, The Financial Times of Zimbabwe, Africa News, TransAfrica Forum, Harvard Educational Review, Issue, The Progressive and many other publications. His writing has covered subjects such as "US Agriculture and Its Impact on Third World Farming," "Hidden Costs of the War with Iraq," and "Challenging the Leadership of the World Economy."
Dr. Danaher received his doctorate in sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1982. Before joining Global Exchange he was a senior analyst at Food First/the Institute for Food and Development Policy, an associate fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, DC, and for four years he taught in the School of Government at American University. He currently lives in San Francisco with his wife, Medea Benjamin, and his two daughters, Arlen and Maya.
He's as full of crap as Medea is. Neither he nor Medea will speak out against international terrorism. So there is no way they want to abolishing international terrorism. Unless of course you see America as "international terrorism".
Medea Benjamin is a baby killer beneath comtempt.
Call her Susie. She hates that. And ask her about her wealthy developer father.
******
Born Susie Benjamin, she changed her first name to match the villain in a classical tragedy by Euripides, a barbarian witch whose murder of her own children was so vile even the stoic Greek chorus considered intervening.
As Green Party candidate for Senator in California in 2000, Medea was well known for disrupting other candidates' events by yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs.
Global Exchange's main activity is propaganda - conducting 'reality tours' to various countries, including Fidel Castro's Cuba and Saddam Hussein's Iraq, that take naVve Americans to meet with 'ordinary people' hand-selected by the dictators.
Medea Benjamin's support for oppression precedes Global Exchange - she got her start in the mid-80s, providing aid to the Communist Sandinista government of Nicaragua as a coordinator for the Institute for Food and Development Policy.
As head of Global Exchange and the women's anti-war group Code Pink, she has stood on stage with all three Communist-dominated anti-war coalitions - the Workers' World Party-controlled International ANSWER, the Revolutionary Communist Party-dominated Not In Our Name coalition, and the creation of former Communist Party U.S.A. activist Leslie Cagan, the Coalition United for Peace and Justice.
Her father, Al, is a well-to-do developer, who says he has "donated hundreds of thousands" of dollars to Global Exchange over its 14-year-history. No strings attached, say both Al and Medea Benjamin. Al has supported Jewish- related charities; Medea supports a Palestinian state.
"I admire Susie because she is always true to her own heart," said Al Benjamin; only her family still calls her "Susie." "Even when I totally don't agree with what she's saying."
Benjamin went to Cuba with her first husband, who was coach of the national basketball team; Benjamin hates sports.
Cuba's comparative social equality "made it seem like I died and went to heaven." She was working at a Communist-run newspaper in Cuba.
It was on a trip to Washington, D.C., in the mid-1980s that she met her now- husband Kevin Danaher, a tough-talking activist. He asked the then-vegetarian out to dinner -- to a steak restaurant. They've been together ever since.
"While I wanted to save the world one child at a time, Kevin always says, 'Let's get the bastards who are doing it to these kids.' "
Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin's to Chavez
Benjamin: "With the US elections coming up in November, George Bush and John Kerry for that matter could learn a thing or two from Hugo Chavez about winning the hearts and minds of the people."
She's married?! Sure he isn't a beard?
She and the Code Pinkos I met face to face sure looked like a bunch of lesbians.
Will the paying audience be protesting all the Cadillac Escalades that pull up?
</sillyquestionwhatwasIthinking>
bump
ping and bump!
ping and bump!
Actually they don't. And that's consistant over the years and across the country, including the recent circus at Camp Cindy in Crawford.
They don't spend money, they freload, they don't stay in a hotel, they "crash" somewhere.
Quisling?
How about we get down to the truth and call them what they really are... Communists!
Quisling is too gracious in my book.
