Stung by the success and resilience of the patriotic counter-demonstration by Freepers of Code Pink's ghoulish 'antiwar' protests outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Code Pink leader Gael Murphy and a couple Pinkos distributed flyers door to door to the houses in a several block area around Walter Reed urging residents to call the police in order to run off the D.C. Chapter from there.
The two sided flyers featured a graphic promoting the 'antiwar' activities in Washington next weekend on one side and a letter from Code Pink to the residents in the Walter Reed neighborhood on the other.
The letter is typical Code Pinko propaganda. They give the residents their same old line about they care for the soldiers, blah, blah, blah. They don' t tell them that Code Pink endorsed Al Qaeda in Iraq and gave $650,000 to the terrorists in Fallaujah.
In the letter, they also warn the residents to expect a much larger crowd next Friday because of the 'antiwar' rally.
Code Pink closes the letter by accusing us of "disrupting the quiet" of the neighborhood because we "often yell and raise (our) voices in anger" at Code Pink.
Code Pink then tells the residents, "Please know that you can contact the Washington DC Police Department to ask that peace and quiet be restored."
Unfortunately for Code Pink, the D.C. noise ordinance doesn't apply until 10 p.m. Being that we have a demonstration permit and only use our unamplified voices to direct our comments across the street, our activities fall under First Amendment protections.
Also, out of respect for the neighbors, we keep it down after 9 p.m. (One of the two corners we stand at is in front of the end of a block of row houses. The other corner is in front of a parking lot for a church that doesn't hold services Friday evenings.)
Code Pink, of course, cares nothing for the 'quiet' of the soldiers and their families as they try to put their lives together at Walter Reed. They care only about lowering morale and trying to bring about the defeat of America in the war.
Code Pink can't beat Freepers mano a mano, so they tried a sneaky trick to get us run off by the police.
It is worth noting that yet again a Code Pinko came across the street and tried to start a fight. The 'man' chickened out and went back to his corner when bmwcyle informed him that the police had told us to call them if any of the Code Pinkos came across the street to harrass us.
I came from Thousand Oaks, California for the Vigil Friday night. This was the first one I have attended and I hope to return this Friday.
My logic tells me not to post a reply to this silliness that you have written because I don’t believe you to be a critical thinker or certainly not a seeker nor witness to the truth. Also I will be castigated for the truth I am going to write – IF the Free Republic posts this at all.
I was one of the “pinkos” passing out the flyer on Friday, September 16th. To a person, every neighbor or passerby we spoke with treated us warmly and was grateful for the information on the flyer. Some also commented, and not by any prompting on our part, that it was the Free Republic group that were raucous and that their volume has been increasing week by week. So it is indeed apparent that the people in the area know who is “disrupting the quiet” – and they are not the ones wearing pink.
Kristin, you also state that “out of respect for the the neighbors we keep it down after 9:00p.m.” This is a given, as Code Pink, et. al., leaves at 9:00 p.m., but on the the 16th it was different. Just prior to our departing we formed a prayer circle. As we were lead in prayer the verbal animosity/hatred reached an incredible pitch that astounded me. “DO NOT PRAY TO MY GOD” Was shouted many times. I don’t know what other deplorable things were bellowed at us, as I was in prayer.

No worries ... I know a few cops in the area who would LOVE to FReep with us this BIG weekend but can't. So, the next best thing would be to visit on a bogus call ... and hear the Pinko's lame whiny drivel.
Well, Pinkie, since this is the first "vigil" that you've participated in, I think it's quite safe for me to say you don't know what you're talking about.
It also doesn't appear that you are a seeker or a witness to the truth.
Medea Benjamin and her other Leftist friends in Code PinkO don't give a rat's ass about our soldiers, their medical, education or retirement benefits. The only thing they care about, as regards our soldiers, is that more of them die.
Why else would Code PinkO send more than $650,000 to what Medea herself was quoted as describing as "the other side," in Fallujah, last December. (Agence France Press and Turkish Press reports, if you really are a truth seeker.)
The "other side" in Fallujah last fall and winter were fighting hard to kill our Marines. $650,000 buys a lot of guns, ammo, and bombmaking supplies.
Oh, and don't try to tell me that Code PinkO sent $650,000 worth of "supplies" to Fallujah. Ever heard of the word "barter"? How about "black market"? How about BS?
There is nothing silly about Code PinkO. They are aiding the enemy; and their aid is killing and maiming our troops, coalition troops, Iraqi troops, Iraqi police, Iraqi civilians - including women and children.
If you possessed critical thinking skills yourself, you might want to rethink your support of a group that is dancing in the blood of those they have assisted in killing and maiming.
And, since you haven't been to a Code PinkO blood dance at WRAMC before last Friday, you have absolutely no idea what their behavior has been prior to your presence.

Since March 30, 2005 (save for one, or perhaps two, of Code PinkOs' "vigils") I have been at every one.
Code PinkOs have held many disgusting signs, including their now infamous "Maimed for a Lie" and "Enlist Here and Die for Halliburton" signs.
Code PinkO also used to do their blood dance from 8pm until 10pm; but once it became clear that the WRAMC injured troops and their families knew the traitors that Code PinkOs are, and they began jeering and hand-gesturing at the Code PinkOs, Code PinkO has ended their "vigils" an hour earlier - to save the uneducated PinkO supporters the humiliation (and enlightenment) of being repudiated by soldiers who know Code PinkO is run by liars, leftists and traitors.
After The CNS news report on Code PinkOs' despicable weekly psychological assault on our wounded soldiers and their families, Gael Murphy and Code PinkO leadership quickly set into motion their propaganda machine; Murphy calling the folks who held the signs I noted above "infiltrators" and quickly culling her sign inventory of anything blatantly offensive. Unfortunately, Murphy forgot that we have photos of Kevin "Maimed for a Lie" McCarron hugging that particular sign to his bosom week after week.
McCarron, I'd like to remind you, is an active "anti-war" spokesman for Veterans For Peace. Has Gael Murphy now got her tin-foil hat so tightly wound around her pointy little head that she forgot that Code PinkO and VFP co-sponsored the "Dover to DC" faux-mourning blood dance in March of 2004; and that the very same blood dance made a stop right in front of WRAMC, on March 15, 2004?
If you care to do a little looking around on the internet, you can easily find photos from this Code PinkO/Veterans for Peace event. Look at the many dozens of black wreaths and black mock-coffins that were placed all about the front fence of WRAMC.
Sure, you and Code PinkO care about our sodiers; only enough to use them to further your anti-American agenda.
The rest of your rant isn't worth a bucket of warm spit, let alone my wasting time ripping the lies within it further to shreds.
You and Code PinkO and everyone who assist them in their despicable mission to destroy our wounded soldiers' psyches are traitors. You are evil to your black and pus-filled souls.

Are you praying for the troops your "vigil" has caused to die? Do you pray for the troops whose deaths are endorsed as "legitimate and justified" by Code Pink?
Code Pink is an endorser of the WTI. They are clearly listed and what is also clear is that you have to sign up to included as an endorser.
Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are. You are a killer. And Code Pink as an endorser, also backs "certain acts of desperation". That includes car bombing children, so not only are you a killer, you are a baby killer.
Pray all you want, no just God will ever hear your prayers, let alone grant your petition to harm others.

"Disrupting the quiet", as you say, is not the issue at hand here. Your presence, no matter the volume, is offensive and inappropriate in front of a hospital where those who defend your right to be an idiot are recovering from their wounds.
Your so-called "prayer circle" and quoting of the beatitudes is hypocritical at best but is better characterized as blasphemous.
The members of Code Pink fail every verse. There's still time to repent.
