I've known some vets who were a little kooky, some that were gruff and difficult to know, but all the ones I know love animals and want to help them. I don't think very many people go into veterinary medicine to get rich.
I know that my vets have dug deep into their own pockets to help out the animals.

Why is tax money being used? I just don't get it. What are they going to do with all these pets once they rescue them. The owners are homeless and lost everything and they are going to worry about Fluffy? Geez, call the local Korean restaurant.

Briarcliff Animal Foundation I can vouch for these folks as good, honest vets who have done a lot for the community here. Your money will be put to good use.
Thanks for the info-- I'll pass it along to the wife-unit's office for further distribution.

I hope peta and the aspca is paying for ALL this - these are animals that should wait until AFTER all humans are taken care of.
It is called survival of the species.

Ping! Your friends are working hard!

S'cuse me?? All pet owners were not irresponsible - many were forced to leave animals they did not want to leave. Did you happen to see that poor lady on TV who was crying bitterly because she could not leave her beloved dog? That lady had been helping to rescue PEOPLE for 2 days and when it came time for her to be rescued she wouldn't leave the Chow. I wouldn't classify that lady as irresponsible.
To: Zacs Mom
I didn't see PETA listed as one of the organizations helping. What's up with that?
