What's with all these actors and performers thinking that a little bit of fame makes them political experts?
Shut up and sing, already!

Really? I would like to know what Larry Storch thinks about how Bush handled Katrina. I would also like to know what Michael Richards thinks about our campaign in Afghanistan, etc.

WHO CARES what Sam Neill thinks? I can personally think of at least 200,000 people whose opinion I respect more than his. Why is the media doing this...it's like...anyone who'll say something negative about Bush gets to have a forum. It's unprecedented.

Might I suggest to the liberal socialist that even "poor people" such as myself, understand simple numerical percentages.
And having clawed my way from the bottom rung of the income ladder towards higher financial success, I have personally experienced the shocking point when a slight hourly income raise actually meant a drop in take home pay, due to entering a higher income tax bracket.
I have other life priorities, and quite frankly am not willing to take on the considerable risks, long hours, and hard work that are generally required of the people who can afford to hire me as an employee.
What kind of idiot thinks I want my employer to pay a higher percentage in taxes than I am forced to pay?
I guess it's the same kind of idiot who thinks I should be jealous of, and covet those things that others have, and that I do not.
NEWSFLASH:I do not hate my employer, and I do not want him taxed at a higher rate than myself.

Has it been that long? I'm just going by what I've heard, but if it's been longer, we need to know. Just further proof they can't fix diddly.

Sam Neill would do well to study the history of his profession.

Up until the twentieth century society usually held entertainers in very low esteem. Entertainers were mostly in two groups. The first group had steady jobs, because they worked for royalty and nobility, keeping the upper classes entertained. Mimes, jesters, and acrobats were considered part of the household help or beasts of burden in the stable. The king would not have dinner with his favorite horse, no matter how much he liked the horse, and neither would he have dinner with one of his entertainers.

Other entertainers traveled from town to town, putting on shows for the common people. They were not considered part of polite society. The jesters, mimes, and such put on their show, got their money and left. Women of loose morals often accompanied the troupe of entertainers and engaged in a different kind of entertaining behind the tent. The professions of prostitution and acting intertwined more often than not. Young ladies who became actresses were often disowned by their families and considered to be prostitutes.

Mr. Neill and his fellow actors are nothing more than prostitutes. We pay them money, they entertain us, and that is the end of our relationship. We would never associate with them in public, because they are not fit to be seen in polite society.

These show biz types with stagnating careers have learned that bashing Bush will get them headlines.

The economy is in the tank?

Sean Hannity who was talking with Leo Torrell and someone named Cunningham.

That would probably be that won derful loud mouth Bill Cunningham from WLW 700 AM in Cincinnati. One of the best there is. He used to represent one of WLW's personalities 15-20 years ago and said, "Hey I think I can do that job". And he has. Still an attorney, talk show host and owner of a couple of sports bar restaurant's named "Willie's".

What a disappointment.
I had always thought him intelligent.
Then he opened his mouth and proved otherwise.
