It's on at 9 p.m. Eastern
He is expected to say that it was a storm unlike any other, and that the govt. was not prepared for such a task. I hope he also mentions that it would have been containable if the idiots in LA. had actually repaired the levee with the money sent to them to do so. But, of course, he'll be polite. But that's the diplomatic way to handle it. They're already getting smacked as the country actually learns they were responsible.

Most despicable quote of any news coverage thus far comes from Terence Hunt from AP, who reports in advance of W's speech the following, "Trying to make up for a flawed disaster response that embarrassed his administration, Bush was also expected to say he considers detailed emergency planning a "national security" priority"
HAS ANYONE heard of the National Response Plan!? Bush put it into effect JAN 04--there is a plan, on the federal level and it works! Its LA that sucked here, not the FEDS!!!! ARGH! I really don't know if I can take it any more.
