I don't think you feel shame. So I will feel it for you.

I am truly glad that you are not in my family, and almost equally glad that you are not a neighbor.

Ever hear of a barn raising?

You would never qualify for the team.

You nailed it. I heard the first story today on how high the unemployment claims have been lately. No mention that before the storm we were at 4.9% unemployment.

Nagin has been somewhat frozen out by the Democrats in Baton Rouge. He's a former Pubbie, remember, and supported Jindal in the 2003 Gubernatorial against Governor Deer In Headlights.

One person who will NOT be in control of the money is Governor Deer In Headlights. She won't get near it. Nagin and his people will. They're black. The Baton Rouge Donks are white. They get nuttin'. Landreiu and her crowd can go hang. She's the wrong skin color.

Bush will make sure that BLACK PEOPLE GET MONEY.

Bush will make sure that BLACK PEOPLE and BLACK POLITICIANS benefit when CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS (not liberal Democrats, like, ahem, HILLARY...) hand out money and shiny new low interest loans for Urban Homesteads. He will make sure that they KNOW, and that the black media knows, that George Bush is not the mass murderer of young black men and women that Kanye West says he is.

Bush will make damned sure that Blacks associate the new prosperity with Republican action. This is a mini version of the New Deal.

Six months from now, black Americans will not vote for Bush, but they will think better of him. They will also think better of Republicans.

Black voters are rational actors. If you act in what they perceive to be their rational self interest, you will be rewarded with their vote. In this case, Bush is offering massive Federal Assistance to rebuild their shattered lives.

This is not Ayn Rand World. John Galt does not speak over the loudspeaker in Manhattan. Bush is doing what the American people want him to do, and he and Republicans will be rewarded for it.

Trust me. Donkeys are not happy tonight. Karl Rove saw to that.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

At least we've given them hope for a newlife.....I kep repeating myself and no one know how to get the actual data of who actually owns how much(I've Asked)

70% of the people in NOLA live in rental houses. Much of that housing is subsidized by HUD at a high rate. (Moon Landrieu was the head of HUD during Carter administration) By helping folks buy their own homes, "W" is really sticking a finger into the eye of the corrupt land owners in NOLA.....Here's to you President Bush!

The President gave hope to some hopeless people who have lost everything but the air they breathe. Without hope, they will never be able to pick themselves up and move forward.

Yes. He gave many people hope and not empty platitudes or promises. I think some of them already realize that.

And he systematically neutralized the poison of the rats attacks. They have misunderestimated him again.

That rebuilds nothing.

They could move to wherever they wanted to. Why do you insist that their current home be rebuilt? Especially when the city is bellow sea level and the owners probably won't get flood insurance this time either.

People shouldn't live in high risk areas unless they can afford the insurance.

..but far from fully operational

I saw it. I'm just trying to show a silver lining. It's gonna be alright, with or without Uncle Sam, at least in Bama and MS. You wouldn't believe the 'Git er done! stickers on boys with trucks haulin' 55 gallon drums of fuel, and Bobcats, and chainsaws driving up and down the roads in Mobile, Pascagoula, Gautier, Vancleve and Biloxi.

I've seen the big bears, little bears, and mama bears wipe their tears and get back to work. Sh!t is getting done there, I assure you. I've never been so proud to be a Redneck.

Now 'dem Cayjowns, I don't know.

Bush was a bit vague about control of the money, but I don't think Bush will funnel it through the corruption machine, and Congress won't stand for it. If folks didn't have Louisiana's number before now, about of wilful ignorance, they do now.

Gulf Opportunity Zone = GOZ. Sounds like Gaza.

All of those people who find parallels between Israel's forced disengagement of the Gaza Strip and the US' forced disengagement of New Orleans are going to have a field day with this acronym.

The best thing that happened to some of the refugees was a chance to get to Texas and see how a real state and local government worked.

I am sure they see now that things can be better for them and their families.

I suspect many will not want to return to NO.

That sounds like a pathetic non-response from a jerk.

And you people wonder why nobody in the Republican party gives one damn what you think about anything.

Howlin's?? ROFLOL!!

You are obsessed and mentally unhinged! (And funny at the same time).

My thoughts have nothing to do with Howlin's. We agree on many things, but not even close to everything...........right, Howlin? (Let's go back to Terri Schiavo if we need proof).

Does this poor man need to seek professional help for his delusions?? He is seriously ill!
