Tonight was conservatism at its finest.
Worthy praise was given.
Compassion and understanding was shown.
The offer of jobs for returning people through tax incentives to companies willing to locate in the area was right.
The offer of 5000 dollars to each person who lost everything, money designated for job training, job searching and daycare was RIGHT.
The idea that the federal money would be OVERSEEN by a federal group the President assigns and NOT the local or state authorities was RIGHT.
The idea that the federal government MUST BE GIVEN authority to move rapidly into a devastated area and not be held up by local and state authorities was RIGHT.
The plan to demand that every single large city in this nation update and or perhaps invent a WORKABLE evacuation plan complete with necesary medical and food supplies in case of weather or terro related castrophy was RIGHT.
This was conservatism...this speech and what it represents was conservatism at its best.
That the those returning who are able to work will be expected to do so, and will be helped with opportunity to find work was exactly RIGHT! RIGHT ON! AND on the RIGHT.

From what I can tell -- POTUS hit a grand slam. The democrats are WORRIED. No fiscal conservatives are worried. Liberals are as excited as can be.

Fox needs someone a lot meaner than Greta to be able to take on Jackson. Jackson knows that Greta won't question him. It is no surprise that Jackson won't appear on the O'Reilly Factor. He'd be torn to shreds.

"Is abandoning people in their time of need a conservative value now?
"
No way. This is, I believe, where conservatives shine. When we are aware of a problem we create solutions that work better and more efficient.
Now listening to Jesse Jackson. Jesse has been talking for years and he has managed to only help his family. Something's wrong with that. He's done nothing, from my point of view, to build on MLK's legacy.

Folks are letting their feelings short-circuit their brains.Actually, our brains are working better than yours.
There were solutions in this speech to long term problems that are a drain on our economy.
You just didn't hear them.
